I stumbled upon this issue a few days ago and loved the ultimate guide featuring The Revenge of Shinobi with all of the sprites and overall details, awesome stuff!
I know that you did not really mention any of that in this video, but I wanted to really thank you guys for dedicating a section to one of the greatest ninja games if all time!
One part had me laughing, because I actually saw my name under the Twin Galaxies section, it caught me by total surprise! Thanks for the mention haha!
I'd love to have the whole set of RetroGamer on a tablet sized device to read with a nice hot cup of tea. Be cool to actually be able to click on the game screenshots and be taken to an emulator. I can dream :)
Very good Issue, in the mail bag is my contribution from Argentina, I´m very happy, thanks! if you can send me a copy of the magazine! Stuart have my adress! Un abrazo para todos!
would love an arcade cab special showing cabs from original woodies up to candies current cabs and suff like the megalow cabs and electrocoin stuff. lol basically anything arcade game related
Cool looking issue as always. I just picked up a copy of issue 80. I loved the article in the issue prior to that on the Gamate. Never heard of it before.
I'd love to see an article on games based on Gerry Anderson TV series. The same goes for anime. I just got some LaserDiscs of Sakura Wars OVA 1. I'd love to read an article on the Sakura Wars games.
Whilst the mag got better towards the end, its still far too full of 80's games. Its so badly balanced. Most people today want 90's stuff, not ancient, virtually unplayable 80's games.
Why begin introducing 2000's games like the admittedly superb Metroid Zero Mission when the late 90's in particular has been so badly catered for by this magazine over the last year or so?
At least next months issue sounds much better at least... won't be buying this issue anyway, yet again.
@MrVengeance83 absolute rubbish. I find the balance to be perfect and I am incredibly grateful that they produce such a magazine, I actually think to a large degree it is taken for granted already.
Great magazine and I would love to buy it..but I live in Denmark.
What are your plans of making a digital magazine and selling it via zinio.com ? I'm sure you'll get lots of new subscribers and I would be the first in line!
I loved Destruction Derby on PS1....Loved the 2nd one better though, I still have Destruction Derby 2 for PS1 somewhere around my house last time I played it was about a year or two ago before i moved back home
the cover looks amazing are you keepin that design? not 100% on ps2 and Gcube but gba should fit just fine though. hard to believe 81 issues so far cant wait till 100, hope it's as epic as Games tm 100th was.
well id say the Xbox and Gamecube are classed as retro since there is no support for them at all now but the PS2 is borderline retro if that makes sense
I'd consider the PS2, XBox, etc.. as "Retro-ish" consoles, while consoles such as Saturn, SNES, and even as early as the Atari 2600 as true Retro consoles.

I always get the feeling with these particular preview vids that you're chewing gum whilst recording them.

You did an EXCELLENT job on this issue.
I understand why you would introduce the GBA because EVENTUALLY the GBA, PS2, GameCube ect will become retro.

It is great to see PS2, GBA, Xbox etc in the mag as there is nowhere in print that covers them. Looks a great issue.

COme on the PS2 isn't quite retro yet due to still being available to buy. I consider retro machines to be done & dusted first.

Can I request to at least mention the name of the homebrew games featured in the magazine instead of just ignore them? thanks

So, Retro + Retro-ish + New Gen.
