So, let's take it from the top... There is Final Fantasy: VII, VIII, IX, X, X-2, Kingdom Hearts: I, II, and now, this is the one I think you are having a problem with... The movie, Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, which is a sequel to Final Fantasy: VII.
