The fuel efficiency of that engine is the best in the world atm when it comes to efficiency/hp

I have that car! The version in my country comes equipped with the iDrive as a standard option. I love the performance but hate its engine sound. One would imagine a Toyota Tundra approaching when they hear its engine.

i appreciate the 320d is efficient and fast. i wonder what it's like to drive vs. a 320i

Its much better to drive. 320d has a lot of torque and feels much faster than 320i...and it is much faster than 320i. 320i feels soooooo weak.

Everyone who really likes cars, would prefer the 320i. Diesel stinks!

The 320i can just about make it on the HP field, but it gets kicked when it comes to torque. Overall, I would doubt largely between a 320d and a 320i. Advantages of the 320i would be ... euhm, a better engine sound. That's it. Much worse fuel consumption, still only 4-cilinders, slower than a 320d.

A 325i versus a 320d, is a loss for the diesel, but a 320i doesn't cut it, sorry.
