Guitars are pretty terrible on CD. Axl vocally,melodically still kicks ass but music just doesn't fit him like a glove like old Guns. I still like Chinese Democracy but it isn't on old GNR's level nor anywhere near.

Really, my point was that most Guns songs have a catchy or easily identifiable melody to them; something you could get stuck in your head. I simply find that this song doesn't do that for me. But there is a reason that Axl sold tons of records, great musician and great promoters, and producers. But there are quite a few musicians that are overflowing with talent that aren't well known nor do they have tons of records sold. Just look at Dan McCafferty of Nazareth one of Axl's main inspirations.

Another song from CD that grows on you. The first time I listened to it I was like what the fuck is this shit? Then the more I heard it the better it sounded. It's a great song now with a great solo.
Although I think Appetite For Destruction is the greatest album of all time, and the Use Your Illusions are easily in my top 10 albums of all time, I think this album KICKS ASS! I was a huge Velvet Revolver fan and am a huge Slash fan, but I think this album is better than everything Slash has done since GNR. I just think that the people who bash this album didn't give it a chance. I admit I had to listen to it twice (some songs more) for me to get into it. And now I love it!
i believe that true fans of GnR will never cease to like the music that is made by them (with the exception of those folks from dublin). but even with the different...approach, if i can say that, of the new genre that guns turned into, i think that Buckethead shouldnt have joined in the first place. he doesnt smoke, doesnt party. hes the complete opposite of slash when it comes to social ideals. and as for guitar playing, BH is the most versatile guitarist i know, but he just didnt belong in GnR

Some people I know don't like this album, but I think it is great. On every ablum I've ever bought, there are songs I like and songs I don't like. I think this album had more songs I REALLY liked than even Appetite for Destruction. Obviously I prefer the band with Slash; I think the only person in the world who doesn't is the current guitarist. @JohnnyBRose no i am but this isnt guns and roses this is just Axl Rose or the axl rose project but not G'n'R Slash was good but two songs made him overratted as fuck, read my comment when it was Axl, Slash, Duff, Izzy, Steve, or even Matt Sorum they were great to this those line ups consisted of my favorite GnR material but because Axl is an Ass hole he lost all that the only reason i dissed Slash at all is because you said go jerk off to his channels, Really? did you feel cool saying that
