so i have flow rear entry bindings and they are totally faster to get into and ride however, i find that when im actually on the mountain ready to ride, its 10xs harder because its slippery (lack of a better word) and i slip a little. Any suggestions?
Would you recommend these bindings? I'm waiting to see what the 2012 version brings but wondered if you'd recommend these bindings in general? (I've heard some reviews of poor reliability being my main concern...)
@bobsy852 Check out Flow instead, Excellent products, and you can undo the bridge binding on the front and do them up that way if you're on a steep hill/ stuck in powder. I'll never go back, serious it's step in, flip up, ride. My ass only gets snow on it while I wait for other people these days.
How do you really like them, are you constantly adjust the straps of the chair lift,I'm also guessing you can never sit down like regular bindings right
soo i heard from my friend who had some step-ins and, he went off a jump and when he landed the step in thing came out and he broke his leg, soooo yeah haha instead of some gnu step ints, i got burton exiles. they own.
hows the responsiveness? ive never ridden the step in style ones like this... always thought you'd never get em tight enough on top of your boots, but these seem to have that clinched.
@sn0wchyld they fit wonderfully i find it actually easier to get a snug fit because everything is adjusted and then you just pull the one lock in the back
I love mine. Mine have lasted 6 years so far and I (intermediate-advanced rider) love them. Just take good care of them and they will last. I'm looking to upgrade to the better cinch binding, but for now i'm sure they will last.
Just take care of your gear and it will last longer.
Yea. There are more moving parts for sure, because when the highback reclines, the buckles lift to allow easier access. Just take care of them properly and they will last ages.
Not at all just go with regular ones, but they do however look sick and save soo much time like you will probobly be going down on average 5-6 more times then a person without cinch but if your friends don't have em and your waiting on them anyway then there's no point, I just bought these for 88 bucks including tax cuz I know someone who works at sportscheck employee discount! Just go in and ask for a hook up
I just got back from my local indoor slope about 5 minutes ago. The bindings were great, really quick and easy to get in and out of when standing BUT if you're on a slope it makes using the cinch system a little more difficult, but they can still be used as a regular strap type system.
@leemccarrick hey bud been about a year now since you posted this vid. How are these bindings from your experience? have you had any problems with them? I am thinking of getting the k2 ctc or flow nxt.
Im with u i think i am going to a rear entry binding (Gnu mutant, K2 Cinch, Flow NXT AT, ect).... I think i am going to go with the Flow NXt AT becasue they seem to be a better built binding and if i am going to be dropping 275 on a binding i dont want it to fall apart (like i felt the finger loop on the K2's would in the Colorado cold).
nice dude

When getting on and off the lift

Or do you just set and forget the straps after you have them dialed in

You're an idiot; learn some grammar and sentence structure before you insult someone using a keyboard.
I'm black, and clearly smarter than you.
