The Dazz Band are in my opinion one of the Great Tragedies of music. Killer songs, basslines, vocals, hooks, arrangements etc, but all of it destroyed by a soul-less drum machine. They were prisoners of the time period in which they existed.
My fantasy would be for the band to get together in the studio and re-do all of their great songs - such as the above - except with real drums...
