@mxt2s well in the 240 world we actually part together out stuff and all have different setups. we dont buy kits. if you do that as well then how could there be stages? i can see turbo kit stage 1 stage 3 and so on. but when you actually do go and get all the parts you want and put it together your self how would you put that in a stage? not everyones set up thats parted together is the same.

Ya... right.. If I wanted to make my car look faster than a 400hp car I wouldn't have stated that my car makes 200rwhp. Its all about the right setup and the right driving.
Mustang with 4.10 gearing and ET streets with a good driver vs. a turbo 240sx on street tires set up for drifting with a not so good driver. In the 1/4 mile he would have come around me, but in the 1/8th its all about the hook and the driver.
Turbo cars are top end cars. The turbo wasn't bad, we raced twice with the same outcome and he had no excuses like "clutch is slipping" or "turbo is bad".
Not cocky at all but look at my channel for videos of that day. I ran against cars that came with 300-400hp from the factory and still beat them. It wasn't a fluke. 1/8th mile is a drivers race.

I'm just telling you what the owner told me.. But hopefully a turbo 2.4 is a little bit over 150.. It definitely had a turbo on it. Gave me a better run for my money then some other high HP cars I raced. Remember 1/8th mile is about the hook and driver.

Theres no way that 240 has 400hp. Me that I have about 240hp on my 240sx SR20DET I whoop on my friends 97 Cobra That brings 300hp from factory. And the times that we raced were on the 1/8th like this video and we both had traction coming out. So nice way of lying to make your GT sound amazingly fast.

You can talk shit all you want because you are butthurt that your 240sx probably doesn't move out of its own way. You've probably never ridden in a fast car, either. Actually, he doesn't just "come on youtube to talk shit" (like yourself), he knows more than you will ever know about working on cars. He put his car together by himself, he does a lot of the work on my cars, and he is a professional mechanic (meaning he works on cars for a paying job). He knows everything thats in his car as he was the one who put it together. Stage 2 is easier to say than saying all of the mods. Anyone that knows anything about Subaru performance knows what Stage 2 is

He actually gets out and races like myself instead of being a youtube keyboard warrior. The term "Stage 2" infacct DOES mean something in the world of Subarus. If you went up to another Subaru enthusiast and said that your car is just a Cobb Stg 2, they would know exactly what is done to the car.

@mxt2s no offense man but i have sti friends and to confirm they knew wut that was. now back on subjectmy best friend has a 90ish mustang gt with suspension, exhaust, and mild engine mods. we both do most of the work on our cars. and we have been racing together for about 1yr. my sohc 240sx turbo smokes him every time drag -1/8 or 1/4 and highway at a 70 mph roll we have alotr of fun....i'd hate to say this but i love both cars but things just dont add up...either way nice vid

@mxt2s well in the 240 world we actually part together out stuff and all have different setups. we dont buy kits. if you do that as well then how could there be stages? i can see turbo kit stage 1 stage 3 and so on. but when you actually do go and get all the parts you want and put it together your self how would you put that in a stage? not everyones set up thats parted together is the same.

look man i have at 240sx pushing 380rwhp and unless i have slicks on i dont catch traction until almost third gear im not saying it was a fluke i am saying he lied to you about his setup he could have had a throttle body spacer. i race a lot of cars i respect mustangs because they are pretty fast but there is NO way he has even close to 400hp he pry bought it off someone and was an idiot to believe the person that sold it to him.

Yea If you have good tires & the right gears then it don't take much power to win in the 1/8 but like you said 1/4 is diff. I put slicks on my 87' Nissan 300zx Turbo & changed the stock 1/4 time from like 15.7 to 14.21. Stock every thing else ever stock boost of 7psi!

Mustang with 4.10 gearing and ET streets with a good driver vs. a turbo 240sx on street tires set up for drifting with a not so good driver. In the 1/4 mile he would have come around me, but in the 1/8th its all about the hook and the driver.
Turbo cars are top end cars. The turbo wasn't bad, we raced twice with the same outcome and he had no excuses like "clutch is slipping" or "turbo is bad".

Not cocky at all but look at my channel for videos of that day. I ran against cars that came with 300-400hp from the factory and still beat them. It wasn't a fluke. 1/8th mile is a drivers race.
He wasn't lying about the turbo, we popped hoods before the race. That car was trailed into the event and trailered out. Not stock at all.

No shit. A race is a race. 1/8th mile my car holds its own. Most of the cars I raced that day would take me in the 1/4 mile. I never said my car was faster than any of them. I realize a 200hp 3300lb car's power to weight ratio is far inferior than that of a 400hp 2900lb car.
I post videos to share with everyone, not saying that my car is faster than anything. My car is slow and I'll be the first one to tell you that. I can make slow cars look good with my driving.

I'm just telling you what the owner told me.. But hopefully a turbo 2.4 is a little bit over 150.. It definitely had a turbo on it. Gave me a better run for my money then some other high HP cars I raced. Remember 1/8th mile is about the hook and driver.

Whether it has 400hp who the hell knows didn't look like 400hp to me but it definitely had a turbo on it. I know this because I both seen and heard the turbo on the car.
If you look at my other videos you will see that it was a drivers race. I was beating cars that come with 300hp stock like a new Mustang GT and an SRT8 charger which has 425hp stock.
Speaking of bullshit I'd like to see any bolt-on ka24 car outrun a Mustang GT. Mustangs are slow, but not that slow.
