  • Eric's in great shape, but honestly, Zuzana's pistols looked a lot better than his.

  • I agree. Arse to grass is the way to go! Stopping abruptly at 90 degrees, and suddenly going in reverse is what kills knees.

  • THIS IS SOOO GREAT PISTOLS!!! AND I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!

DO 3 SETS OF 20 REPS,, AND THEN WE'LL BE TALKING ABOUT THE PAIN ;D!

    CHECK OUT MY FITNESS CHANNEL!

  • @DhivaFiTV that sounds miserable :)

  • @rockbodyfitness you mean PAINFUL! hehe, beucase that's what it is "Painful"...Although right now i'm on my 2nd day of pain cuz i killed really hard my leg's muscles at the gym, let's talk about 180 lbs squats and 200 lbs leg pressing, ouchhh!!!! that hurts ;D! but i LIKE TO SAy: LOVE THE PAIN TO SEE THE GLORY

    takE CARE!!

    HAVE A LOVELY DAY!

  • lost your abs...

  • @dda030582 they are there, just covered up at the moment

  • @rockbodyfitness lol why are you bulking? You don't strike me as the type of trainer to do that?

  • @dda030582 when did I say i was bulking? putting on a bit of muscle here and there to make me stronger as a whole is one thing but you are right...i'm not the type to bulk...anymore

if you saw my fat pics that was the result of me trying to bulk which is one reason i don't do it

  • you've put on some flab mate what gives?

  • @lucky179009 marriage and holiday's do that to ya

  • i used to do pistols all the time.until i found out its bad for ur knees

  • @hotsuma4 according to who?

  • @rockbodyfitness all the doctors and physical trainers ive seen.it puts a lot of pressure on ur knee when u go past 90 degrees.its a great workout.i love it not many ppl can do it.but i started getting popping noises in my knees after awhile thats why i stopped.but thats just me.everyones different and has differnt experience.i was doing it every day for about 2 months nd thats when the problem started.but now im back to normal

  • @hotsuma4 the highest amount of tension on the tendons and ligaments happens at 90 degrees but that doesn't mean you shouldn't go past it. as a matter of fact going to 90 degrees and suddenly changing direction at that point is what would make this dangersous. going all the way down isn't and can be very theraputic.

before I ever discovered this exercise I use to not go all the way down. aching knees and a torn acl were all I had to show for it.

  • @hotsuma4 these days i can go ass to calve with a 106lb kettlebell in the pistol squat and my knees feel great

  • Sorry Eric but your form was kinda horrible.

Your right leg wasn't supposed to stick out at the side like that.

    But good attempt nevertheless!

  • @DoingMoar the leg is able to stick out anywhere it needs for balance. normally i have a kettlebell for a counterweight

  • @rockbodyfitness Not the your form was 'horrible'

But hes got a point, thats like saying you can flare youre elbows out on a bbell bench press, yeah you can push more weight, doesnt make it better..

  • thats an awesome workout
