  • Man, drummer!!! Nigga!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Best band out there if you ask me.

  • this song was a lot more amazing when i was on 6 grams of mushrooms

  • lol Hell yea.

  • Anyone else notice the distinct influence from Radiohead's "Everything in Its Right Place"?

  • Yeah, I did. the electronic sound in the beginning is almost the same as the rhythm from Radioheads.

  • holy shit! I like this band way better because of this video. mad respect

  • Sometimes love hurts, kid.

  • i've never been to a Radiohead show, butr i'd like to be; watching this 9the live electronic part) reminded me of a IKMFDM show.

but then i don't go to many /anything/ shows, if that seems like a stretch to anyone.

point being it was fucking awesome and looks like a feat to someone as musically inept as me.

  • Awe!

  • WOW. too cool. Awesome in some crazy way. Or crazy in some awesome way. Love the performance. Love the band. :)

  • In my opinion, MuteMath is better than Radiohead. Don't get me wrong, Radiohead is great music, but MuteMath can just take you into this happening groove and just stay there like no other rock band out there right now. I love that. And their drummer. Don't get me started on him. Best drummer out there right now.

  • They're usually different moods, so it's hard to claim that, but for their specific speed MuteMath is hard to rival. From the videos I've seen the live shows are fucking fantastic, and the music... well, obviously that's good.

  • Even better than the Jimmy Chamberlin Complex?

  • ?? i don't understand the radiohead comparison, both bands sound pretty different to me. Although they both tend towards the electro-atmospheric- ambient sounds, the character is just..totally different.. radiohead sounds more chaotic and disorganised in melody to me, mutemath has more of a groove and melody thing gg simliar to trance/techno music... i dunno, the comparison just seems off. Try Paramore and Hey Monday for a comparison haha

  • its cos the melody sounds quite like everything is in its right place but i agree as a band they are quite different

  • what?! dude ernestoraad?! how can you say radiohead sucks in comparison? they are both equally amazing and you obviously do not know what radiohead has done for indie music.wow you dont have to like radiohead but you cross a line when you say they suck...

  • the drummer is very creative...he is amazing!

  • wow...

  • i gotta say the drummer has alot of potencial. he has such a powerful debt in his drumming, love it !!

  • Yeah, this group is nice......Pretty relaxing

Once a while Id go to sleep with it...lol

  • i like IT

  • This song is just greaaat!! I love Mutemath!!

  • what the hack the effect these guys use...???

  • love at first groove

  • these is a great band...

  • good band, nothing profound but good. the drummer makes the song.

  • the start sounds a bit like Radiohead

  • a bit???

its completely stolen, the song in itself is everything in its right place by radiohead....

  • I at least agree that it's not original sounding...

The drummer does definitely hold the band together as well. Radiohead is totally better and I don't think Mute Math is completely stealing from them... and around where i live, there are lots of bands in the city that sound like this.. and actually better at making this kind of music honestly. Heh. I still think mute math is amazing and creative though. So nobody take that as a diss. It is not.

  • pff wtf.. radiohead sucks in comparison

  • Let's take this into consideration:

There are only so many different notes and so many unique distinguishable timbres -- as well as rhythms. Take the world down as a huge calculation of probability taking down the factors of what sequences of sounds that the human enjoys listening to. THEN, find a jam band.

No one's ripped off of anyone. When you hear a band truly play what's in their mind and heart, then you'll hear similarities, but no carbon copies. I respect and listen to both bands.

  • they are amazing live! saw them last thursday and it was great i suggest going.

  • ive had the honor of seeing this band twice live, once before they got big then again at voodoo fest this year...even with rage against the machine and smashing pumpkins playing at voodoo, this band still took my award for best performance.

  • not bad not bad I actully like this, this is pretty kick ass.

  • This is awesome. I'd love to see them live!

  • you can see they are influenced by RADIOHEAD. very experimental pushing the envelope

  • wow

  • everybody who reads this should know that mutemath are just about the most impressive live band i have had the pleasure i seeing...i saw them by chance and was completely moved. this is my favourite on the album. go and see this band...i assure you they will blow you away.

  • I'm seeing them in less then a week!!!

  • yeah kinda compare with coldplay but they r better

  • Who is better. coldplay or mutemath?? I sertanly go for mutemath... I just think tey're great!! New album coming out end this year:D

  • Can't wait

  • This is amazing....experimental rock is the greatest, take broken social scene has an example and the feel good lost album, it's just great..nothing like a little imagination and creativity.

  • the only time broken social scene experimented with rok is when they made the song "hotel" but they are still good

  • Did you know...that this was actually just a sound test and not really a song but made it onto the album anyway?

  • I've seen these guys live at the Cornerstone Festival...they are amazing...I love them.

  • i dont like keane too, but its much better than pseudo numetal hiphop linkin park

  • props to the drummer for laying down that sweet groove. super solid man

  • does anyone know why they sometimes only play and not sing when he's got such a gorgeous voice?

  • bummer. He has an uncanny likeness to the dude, just no tattoos.

  • Dude, that is Weezer's new bassist jamming with them. No way!

  • nope. just roy mitchell cardenas

  • This is the best fucking band after of course NIN!

I would kill to see a gig with Mutmath supporting NIN!

Ok here we have a huge band with special writing skills!

Keep up rockin tha fuckin stage guys!

    Angel

  • Love these guys!! I saw them last night in Philly! They're soo fucking talented!!

  • fuck off linkin park, this is maximaly amazing song

  • respect to those who create music such as you can hear right now.

one´s creativity meets no limits, should and will be heard

  • DIoses! son buenisimos!

  • these guys are freakin amazing
