I guess the obvious reply is to see how many Baha'is have more than one wife, or for that matter, taking into account the equality of men and women by right, husbands. I have never heard of any, perhaps the Baha'is understand the law better than you do.

And yes I have posted this more than once,I want everyone to know.
Funny. My beliefs can be found in the Upanishads, Yoga-Sutra, and Bhagavad-Gita, generally. Also the Gospel of Ramakrishna. These are a bit over your Baha'i heads because they are the actual scriptures of other religions, but you wanted me to tell you my beliefs.
I used to be a Baha'i, though, so I know all about your peculiar forms of idiocy and blindness.

@BookOfFlaws In the last sentence you have just answered your own question regarding miracles. As stated in the Writings, that they are only, but not necessarily, proof to those who witness them and therefore are not regarded as proof of anything
Funny stuff. The Bab planned a 2K year world-kingdom. Bust. He appointed a successor, who turned out to be a bust & nobody followed him. When Baha-u's team managed to kill enough Babis (or at least stab them), Baha-u got to be the new kingpin. (Governments were always sending them away. Too much trouble!) Then Shoghi Effendi was supposed to have a son, and that was a bust, too. So Baha'is jerry-rigged all this "covenant" verbiage, to try to hold it together. Nothing WORKS in the Baha'i Faith.

@ronnyvolcano Thankyou for uploading this. Great video and very touching music. I just wanted to point out a couple of mistakes if you don't mind. At 1:11 it refers to Bahiyyih Khanum as "the Most Holy Sheet". It should be "Greatest Holy Leaf". Also at the end (1:57), it says Shoghi Effendi is smiling despite .... "attacks breakers of the Alliance". Shouldn't that read "breakers of the Covenant"?
In the backdrop of millions of Hindu "gods", Buddha did not speak of God as we think of Him. He did, however, say: "There is, O monks, an Unborn, Unoriginated One." In this, He refers to the God beyond human conception. Anyone can say any One is a false prophet. Baha'is believe in independent investigation of truth. For me, that led to acceptance that Muhammad, too, was a Prophet of God. This did not come easily to me, nor will it to you. Jesus was also called a false prophet...
@fsmtdaler Buddha indeed talked about god as you mentioned there but his name for god was in fact Ennui, not only that he also reffered to the manifestations as being possesd by Dharmakāya or Spirit which is pretty much God. And Hindu's believe not in many Gods but only one Brahimn and the other "gods" are mearly aspects or forms that Brahimn can take.
I don't want to dispute with anyone about God because we all believe in God and, as Prophet Muhammad said, "We all come from God and unto Him do we return." However, I wish to ask you if you know how to identify a true Prophet? First he must come at the time prophecied. Second, His prophecies must come true. There is a third recorded in 1st John Chapter 4, "Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God." All of these apply to Baha'u'llah.
The person who is cured of a physical illness or affliction, such as blindness etc., does not say "so what." The nature of God is that He is regenerative; auspicious, all problem-solving, all coherency, all life, and all grace. THAT is why miracles happen around divine men, even without their will (as with Christ). Baha-u was not a divine man. Your excuses are specious. Miracles are one of the points of Christ's line: "By their fruits ye shall know them." And you say Baha-u is Christ?
No one has ever made the claims made by Baha'u'llah. He fulfilled all of the prophecies by all of the Prophets of the past. Baha'u'llah did perform many miracles. He just downplayed their importance. True miracles have an inner meaning. If you cure someone's physical blindness, or raise someone from the dead physically, so what? In the end it means nothing. To provide the remedy for someone's spiritual blindness or to raise them from the dead spiritually, that means a lot!
What miracle did he perform. Sheesh. With the way Baha-u continually crows about himself, self-references, and reports on his "glory" and "beauty" and "power" whenever he writes, you can be DEAD SURE that he would have played up any miracle he managed to pull off. It would be in all his writings and we'd be hearing about it non-stop. The inner meaning of miracles is: God is present; the divine is here. Baha'u'llah was not a divine man, and that's why he does not have a strong miracles legend.
@BookOfFlaws Baha'u'llah did not "crow" about himself "whenever he writes." He glorifed God ceaselessly. I could tell you about one miracle He performed but I won't because it doesn't matter. Even the incident of the Bab, who a firing squad of 750 soldiers failed to kill, is not something we talk about much with non-believers and I hesitate to mention it here. It is documented history which the Iranians have never denied, though they put their own spin on it and make it less than a miracle.
@9bahai9 -- Baha'u'llah did not "crow" about himself "whenever he writes." He glorifed God ceaselessly.
Please. He glorified himself constantly. "The Blessed Beauty," "This Dayspring," ad infinitum.
"I could tell you about one miracle He performed but I won't because it doesn't matter."
Why don't miracles matter? They are divine things. Christianity was raised on the testimony of miracles. Baha'is say that because B-u-L, being simplyf a man commandeering a movement, didn't do miracles.
@BookOfFlaws, As Prophet Muhammad said, "Lakum dinakum wa leey ad-din," i.e. "to you, your way, to me, my way." We're done, BookofFlaws. You'll never hear from me again, no matter how hard you try to provoke me.
@waiotahi52 --In Yoga/Vedanta all devotees have this same perception:
"Verily, I am God."
When a Baha'i takes seriously Baha'u'llah's statement in "Hidden Words" to "look within thyself," he finds God within. What Baha'u'llah stated there was the same realization that all mystics have when seeking God within. They find the divinity within. You should expand your religious knowledge more and not limited yourself to the limited conceptions of the B. Faith.
Likewise, if indeed, Moses, Buddha, Jesus, Muhammad, and most recently, the Bab and Baha'u'llah are the Spiritual Suns which dawn from age to age, to follow their teachings and gain the benefit of Their light is to receive enlightenment of the soul, which is eternal. Even as exposing the plant to the natural sun provides growth for the health of the plant. So their are laws of physical, as well as spiritual growth. Jumping off a cliff won't change the laws of gravity, but it will hurt one...
Baha'is recognize Baha'u'llah as the Manifestation of God for this age, as Muhammad was, Jesus was, and Moses before. Yes, it is a matter of faith. First one must investigate the claim of the Manifestation. Once that claim is accepted or rejected, what is revealed is then recognized as truth or falsehood. The logic of this is again apparent. But if I refuse to acknowledge the sun, and keep my plants hidden inside, they will not grow, or benefit from the laws of nature which involve growth.
In other words, if one recognises Moses, for example, as a Prophet from God, and not merely a self-proclaimed one, then one must accept His Laws as the Laws of God. This is logical. Therefore, recognition is not enough. Both recognition and obedience are required. Neither is acceptable without the other. The reward of this type of conformity is inherent. Disobedience to the laws of gravity does not change the laws of gravity. The other is similar.
so the lower animal nature, which humans fully share with animals, is one plane of our reality and existence. That cannot be denied. The other is spiritual, or the divine nature, which is eternal. Our continued existence is in that realm, as that which is composed of elements must decay after death. Moral development has to do with behavioral conformity to a higher set of laws, in this case, spiritual. The first duty is to recognize the Source of those Laws. The second is obedience.
the natural procreative impulse is inherent in male/female biology. I was raised on a farm, and I well know that baby pigs and other animals go thru the motions even at an early age, whether male to female, vice versa, or male to male, female to female. But to go from there to excuse uninhibited behavior to justify that behavior as either culturally appropriate or spiritually so is another fallacy, or leap. I have no intention of arguing the point. It is for you search out the truth.
Shoghi Effendi, the guardian of charlatanry on "curing" homosexuality:
"Through the advice and help of doctors, through a strong and determined effort, and through prayer, a soul can overcome this handicap."
The Universal House of Justice dismisses scientific research and the position of the scientific community showing that homosexuality is natural, not changeable nor that it is desirable to change, repress or persecute it.
Your opinion is shared by many who fail to recognize how unnatural this "behavior" is. It is a behavior influenced by cultures and societies which shrink from discipline and the divine order, even as some pedophiles might argue their own behavior as natural and scientifically based. Even heterosexuals must repress their base instincts and subordinate their lust to the higher order of civilized life. That some base their resistance on emotion or a current scientific view is irrelevant.
I understand the faith-based are unaccustomed to substantiating their categorical claims with evidence but why not give it a try, there's a first time for everything.
How do you define "unnatural"? As a self proclaimed master recognizer of unnaturalness what is your evidence for homosexuality being "unnatural" ? And if found to be "unnatural" how does that give anyone the right to proclaim it as something that has to be treated as a disease?
fctchk I am open to substantiating as best I can, but please understand that I do not pretend to be some sort of self proclaimed master of anything. That you would try to put that on me or anyone else immediately exposes the illogic fallacy under which you are are hiding. For if one is not open to the truth, any attempt at providing evidence is pointless. Any Logic 101 student knows this. So consider the following: What is nature, and what is the natural order of things. Then proceed
Why a rich and influental person who is the son of a minister, instead of living in greatest comfort prefers to go in harshest prison of all times, if he doesn't have a strong point and mission

"
@hedayatullah9 . Do you or your friends truly think that Jesus would have you starve your family, possibly to death if one were to follow your interpretation, so you personally could be seated on the right hand of God with Him in paradise?
O ye that are foolish, yet have a name to be wise!
@hedayatullah9 One of the disadvantages of coming into the public domain is that you cannot censer the answers to your statements as you can on you own site. Every answer I see on these Baha'i sites that are attacked by you and your kind are answered well, and you are sent looking for something else to complain about. So keep up the good work, you will simply make this Faith stronger, as history has shown with Islam and Christianity.
@waiotahi52 Dear friend, I really don't care who wants to worship stone or Bahaullah, one thing is that, so many nonsens order and decree is in Bahai faith simply does not make sens to me, that amazes me how can all these people who claim to be wise and educated don't ask themselves are these non sense are really from God almighty?!! I am not trying to heart this belief , maybe by throwing these nonsense trying to get some answer ,if you want I list these non sense here any one honestly if have -
@waiotahi52 If have any real answer for them than let me know it, I really appreciated
I am really sorry if I offended any Bahais ,I never meant to but what can I do, I have real concern , who knows, one day if I become convince I might be become Bahai too. let me know if you can handle my questions and concerns than I throw few on the table. thanks to you and all

It was interesting seeing the partial English bits. I see an instance where the word "warden" was used in the place of Guardian. Another common translation for that word apparently is "trustee."
Not particularly important, but interesting nonetheless.
What a treat! Shoghi Effendi growing up before our eyes. The video is over too quickly. I loved every second. I feel closer to him. Thank you, ronnyvolcano!
I am glad that you like this video and pls let me thank you for the nice words I don't think I deserve it because I see every bahai should do his home work and I am trying
What a balm to the heart. This beloved soul, may our efforts today bear the fruit of his labors. This is the purpose of our lives, to carry forward an ever-advancing civilization. God bless him.

Taking a second wife is made dependent upon equity and justice
being upheld between the two wives, under all conditions.
However, observance of justice and equity towards two wives is
utterly impossible. Whoso contenteth himself with a single partner from
among the maidservants of God, both he and she shall
live in tranquillity.

@BAHAIRULES Is that Ennu i (letter following h), or L (letter following K), I can't make out my screen.

truthbroadcasters,
I don't want to dispute with anyone about God because we all believe in God and, as Prophet Muhammad said, "We all come from God and unto Him do we return." However, I wish to ask you if you know how to identify a true Prophet? First he must come at the time prophecied. Second, His prophecies must come true. There is a third recorded in 1st John Chapter 4, "Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God." All of these apply to Baha'u'llah.
9bahai9 2 years ago
The person who is cured of a physical illness or affliction, such as blindness etc., does not say "so what." The nature of God is that He is regenerative; auspicious, all problem-solving, all coherency, all life, and all grace. THAT is why miracles happen around divine men, even without their will (as with Christ). Baha-u was not a divine man. Your excuses are specious. Miracles are one of the points of Christ's line: "By their fruits ye shall know them." And you say Baha-u is Christ?
BookOfFlaws 3 months ago
truthbroadcasters,
No one has ever made the claims made by Baha'u'llah.
9bahai9 2 years ago
What miracle did he perform. Sheesh. With the way Baha-u continually crows about himself, self-references, and reports on his "glory" and "beauty" and "power" whenever he writes, you can be DEAD SURE that he would have played up any miracle he managed to pull off. It would be in all his writings and we'd be hearing about it non-stop. The inner meaning of miracles is: God is present; the divine is here. Baha'u'llah was not a divine man, and that's why he does not have a strong miracles legend.
BookOfFlaws 3 months ago
@BookOfFlaws Baha'u'llah did not "crow" about himself "whenever he writes." He glorifed God ceaselessly. I could tell you about one miracle He performed but I won't because it doesn't matter. Even the incident of the Bab, who a firing squad of 750 soldiers failed to kill, is not something we talk about much with non-believers and I hesitate to mention it here. It is documented history which the Iranians have never denied, though they put their own spin on it and make it less than a miracle.
9bahai9 3 months ago

@BookOfFlaws When I contemplate, O my God, the relationship that bindeth
me to Thee, I am moved to proclaim to all created things "verily
I am God"; and when I consider my own self, lo, I find it
coarser than clay! (Baha'u'llah, The Kitab-i-Aqdas, p. 234)
waiotahi52 2 months ago

Jumping off a cliff won't change the laws of gravity, but it will hurt one...
fsmtdaler 2 years ago
Baha'is recognize Baha'u'llah as the Manifestation of God for this age, as Muhammad was, Jesus was, and Moses before. Yes, it is a matter of faith. First one must investigate the claim of the Manifestation. Once that claim is accepted or rejected, what is revealed is then recognized as truth or falsehood. The logic of this is again apparent. But if I refuse to acknowledge the sun, and keep my plants hidden inside, they will not grow, or benefit from the laws of nature which involve growth.
fsmtdaler 2 years ago
In other words, if one recognises Moses, for example, as a Prophet from God, and not merely a self-proclaimed one, then one must accept His Laws as the Laws of God. This is logical. Therefore, recognition is not enough. Both recognition and obedience are required. Neither is acceptable without the other. The reward of this type of conformity is inherent. Disobedience to the laws of gravity does not change the laws of gravity. The other is similar.
fsmtdaler 2 years ago
so the lower animal nature, which humans fully share with animals, is one plane of our reality and existence. The second is obedience.
fsmtdaler 2 years ago
the natural procreative impulse is inherent in male/female biology.

The Universal House of Justice dismisses scientific research and the position of the scientific community showing that homosexuality is natural, not changeable nor that it is desirable to change, repress or persecute it.
fctchk 2 years ago
Your opinion is shared by many who fail to recognize how unnatural this "behavior" is. It is a behavior influenced by cultures and societies which shrink from discipline and the divine order, even as some pedophiles might argue their own behavior as natural and scientifically based. Even heterosexuals must repress their base instincts and subordinate their lust to the higher order of civilized life. That some base their resistance on emotion or a current scientific view is irrelevant.
fsmtdaler 2 years ago
I understand the faith-based are unaccustomed to substantiating their categorical claims with evidence but why not give it a try, there's a first time for everything.
How do you define "unnatural"? As a self proclaimed master recognizer of unnaturalness what is your evidence for homosexuality being "unnatural" ? And if found to be "unnatural" how does that give anyone the right to proclaim it as something that has to be treated as a disease?
fctchk 2 years ago
fctchk I am open to substantiating as best I can, but please understand that I do not pretend to be some sort of self proclaimed master of anything.

"The Word of God hath set the heart of the world afire; how regrettable if ye fail to be enkindled with its flame! Please God, ye will regard this blessed night as the night of unity, will knit your souls together,
and resolve to adorn yourselves with the ornament of a goodly and praiseworthy character. Let your principal concern be to rescue the fallen from the slough of impending extinction, and to help him embrace
the ancient Faith of God." -BAHA'U'LLAH

" It behoveth the people of Bahá, throughout these days, to provide good cheer for themselves, their kindred and, beyond them, the poor and needy, and with joy and exultation to hail and glorify their Lord, to sing His praise and magnify His Name; and when they end --these days of giving that precede the season of restraint--let them enter upon the Fast. @hedayatullah9 . Do you or your friends truly think that Jesus would have you starve your family, possibly to death if one were to follow your interpretation, so you personally could be seated on the right hand of God with Him in paradise?
O ye that are foolish, yet have a name to be wise!
waiotahi52 2 months ago
@hedayatullah9 One of the disadvantages of coming into the public domain is that you cannot censer the answers to your statements as you can on you own site. Every answer I see on these Baha'i sites that are attacked by you and your kind are answered well, and you are sent looking for something else to complain about. So keep up the good work, you will simply make this Faith stronger, as history has shown with Islam and Christianity.

Gotan Project was a good fit.
It was interesting seeing the partial English bits. I see an instance where the word "warden" was used in the place of Guardian. Another common translation for that word apparently is "trustee."
Not particularly important, but interesting nonetheless.
