@secreamia Those are water jets after before the ramp. They are made to launch you up the hill as water can't go up but it always falls down.

@HoliBlogger Oh that's cool! I've been on roller coasters that use LIMs but not water coasters that do. Most water coasters just use water jet type things.

when your riding it you dont even notice the tracks that push you up there, and oh nym gosh you fly in the air when it goes over those slide top things! eek! cant wait to go this year! did you know they added EIGHT freaking slides to the safari this year!?!?!

Me and my friend Ashley waited 43 minutes in line (Yes, I did infact count.) to ride on the Wildebeest at Holiday World... and then some 50-year-old woman sat behind us and wouldn't stop screaming... it was an odd time. And that woman called my friend Ashley 'honey' which made it awkward.

Our wait was 2 hrs on a Saturday in July. Glad someone posted this because I never got to see much when I went on it, I got a blast of water to the eye in the beginning and nearly lost a contact lens and shut my eyes the rest of the way!

i have rode it before but i live in jasper so we have to drive alll the way down there and i have riden the pilgrams plunge and the raven and i love the wave pool. i sat in the back on the wildebeest so it it was freaky

I live in Indiana, and I'm going in a couple of days! I'm so excited to ride this one and the Pilgrims Plunge because whenever we went last year, Pilgrims Plunge was canceled because it was "raining". Even though it only rained for five minutes, haa.

I have, I went about 5 days ago. Right whenever we were at the boarding station the Wildebeest broke down supposedly and there were about 4 or 5 people on the beginning lift that was stuck. We were there for about 5 - 10 minutes then they got it working again. :)

It may be longer than Black Anaconda but on Black Anaconda the riders start at the top so it cannot count the lift to the top towards its length.

actually its called a water coaster (since it uses a lift instead of having riders climb up to the station, jump in a raft and slide all the way down.)

Nonetheless it looks sweet :)

It's not the lift that makes it a water coaster, it's the sections that blast water up from under you, propelling you uphill. "Master Blaster" in Schlitterbahn (Texas) is a great example of a water coaster that you start after a long climb and end low.
