dude! do u know what the word slow is! ur landings in real life would crush the planes the speed of dissent would require the whole runway and even with the harrier! in a hovering landing, u fail at that. the "Cessna 177" aka, the Cessna cardinal also has no wing struts because of the light weight wings and not just the obvious fact that the landing gear retract's ya and u call ur self a pilot! i'd like 2 c u try 2 fly an actual plane.

Yes it is, and I have no idea what's wrong with yours. Did you maybe not completely install it? Because I downloaded that plane to fill up the rest of the space in the video and I installed it fine in about thirty seconds.

Well, I actually have this problem with many of the planes I download. I follow the exact directions of the site for downloading planes, so I don't know what the problem is.

Follow the instructions in the readme. Usually you have to unzip the file into a temporary folder, then drag the aircraft folder into FSX's simobjects\aircraft folder, then if there are Guages and/or Effects to install, they each go into their respective folders. The default folder for FSX is C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X. From there you can either go to \guages, \effects or \simobjects\aircraft.

Actually, you need to go into the settings to get FSX to run on full...you can't do it just by turning all your sliders up.

You cant. From 10 years simming experience, I can tell you that we wont see that day for several years. You can max out the settings, and I dont care what type of system you have, your frames will be in the single digits at times. FSX looks beautiful even with out max sliders.

Since FSX is back-compatible, most of the recent fs2004 planes are usuable in FSX.

I use a mixture of things. For videos like this where I rarely need to record more than 30 seconds I use Fraps since it has the best quality (I think). When I need longer clips I use ZD Soft Game Recorder since it can record up to 1 minute. But this is just because I save all my money for hardware. You can buy either program in which case I suggest Fraps. But it's really just a matter of preference.

Basically it's the default Dell XPS, but with extra ram.

its fairly easy. i have the same system but with a better processor. e6600. you need to just turn the 3d modeling textures down on ur graphics card. (on your desktop go to nvidia control panel).

Do you have win zip? Make sure you do, then download the file you want. When the box asks you whether you want to save or open the file, click open. Then unzip it to a temporary folder, and read the readme. That will tell you if there are any extras that need to be put in special folders.

and then drag them from there into your aircraft folder, which is default C:\program files\microsoft games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\Simobjects\Aircraft. If that doesn't work, then try another one; the simple fact is that it doesn't always work.

Yeah, it's a little different, but if you do it the way you do in FS2004, it won't work. What you do is you unzip the files from the .zip or .rar to a folder of your choice (I have a folder on my desktop called New Folder that I put all my stuff into),
