Considering Adoption?

Every single child in this world deserves to be special. Every child deserves all the love they can get. Every child deserves to have a family. Some day when I have the means to do it, I want to adopt. Right now however, I am a teacher. I make it my focus to make sure that all of the children in my preschool/day care class know that they are loves and that they are special. Like I said before, every child deserves to have all the love they can get.

if only adopting was just a little cheaper i think heaps of children would be getting adopted but i think people should adopt because there are heaps of kids who have NO family and if you adopt them they will learn how live with a loving family, not alone. THINK OF THE KIDS. BEING HAPPY!

i really want to adopt if only I have much money for it..i hope someday i'll be sucessfull enough to adopt a child.and i wish adoption should not be that expensive to give a chance to the child to have a family

@Mywordification Same here, I am a 23 years old married, and I'd want to adopt a kid too.. But it's so expensive and I don't know where to start. We want a kid of our own but I'd like to adopt a kid to help her/him.

Adoption is so for me. 1, I don't think I could handle the pain of child birth. I just couldn't. I also just don't think I could go through all the pains during labor and everything. Just couldn't happen for me. :/

2. The world is already sooo overpopulated. I'm not saying you can't have children of your own, as long as you'e not breeders like the Duggars, I'm just saying that, for me, I'd rather take in a child in need then have one of my own.

I'm only 18... so I have a while to wait. XD

I don't like the comment about "Instant bonding", that is NOT always the case, but it doesn't mean you shouldn't adopt. You're always going to have challenges as a parent, with an adopted child or not.

I thought about doing an adoption. I chose Bethany to consider it. I ended up keeping her, but I feel like Bethany was a really helpful service and I definitely recommend them for women who want to explore their options without being pressured to do one thing or another and provide lots of counseling to birthparents who are going through pretty much the most difficult situation in their lives. I'm adopted!! (: Just, if you're adopting a child a different race as you, just be prepared for the things people will say to you AND your child that you'll have to deal with. (: But it's definitely a GREAT option!

i would seriously consider adoption if i were in a stable situation. the thought that so many children suffer with no family is unbearable for me. i'd love to have children one day, it's something i've always wanted. adopted or not. i would hope both.

Making adoption your option is the best choice, easy or not, you change a child's life for the better because you chose to go through the troubles to be generous enough to save a little life =)

its not an easy thing to do as far as finances and the waiting process goes, but its also not an easy thing to do in general. if you think this is right for you, make sure you're in the right state of mind to do this. this won't be your adopted child, this will be your child.
