How much were you talking? creatine monohydrate? 5g/day is more than enough, you can disregard the loading phases and you don't need to cycle it. Creatine won't make you bigger, good nutrition, macros and rest are the main part of it. Hopefully, you were drinking a lot of water. Anyways, all that creatine does is enhance protein synthesis and reduce the lactic acid build up in the muscle. 5g 5 times a day is a waste.
