THIS is a fuckin serious songs, show some fuckin respect or go sit on 9 inch dicks you fuckin down syndrome fetal alcohol children! Its tupac fools, you dont fuck around wit it GOD DAMNIT!!!
who cares if u were a black kid raised in the 'hood' or not, im white as fuck and was raised far from poor, i still find meaning in these songs and its just great music.. so what if i cant relate personally? haha...
Big Mike - fuck what that dude is saying - you guys sound good. The hood isn't anything to be glorified - if anything he should appreciate that the fact that two white dudes are covering a TUPAC song!
amazing cover! oh btw my momma dressed me up for school everyday but i still feel the pain and struggle of this song... you have to see both sides of it not just your own.
I personally think they are both equally amazing.. i record people all the time, and produce local groups...all you haters dont know what the fuck your talkin about
hey ericpalooza stfu i would like to see u play guitar and sing that good at the same time. oh wait u cant play guitar or sing, so i suggest u shove the guitar up ur ass and stfu boy! at least the guy can play guitar like none other
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
guy on left with the backward hat ur a really good singer.. JUST KIDDING U SUCK FUCKING COCK U FAGGOT... leave it to my blonde nigga,, u suck fat coc dude in hat. go fucking shove ur guitar up ur ass u fat fucking loser douche bag nigger spick cunt fag pussy dick vagina slit faggot
dont let this ignorant faggot 300 blocctildeath get under your skin hes jealous cause he probably writes garbage rap lyrics, cant spit, and wants to hold people down. IM FROM THE BX I GOT YOUR BACK keep jammin
thats not wat i was sayin...i was sayin that the reason his music means so much is because he went through it just like the rest of us in the hood. andu can feel it through his songs...u cant feel it if u lived in the suburbs ur whole life with mommy dressin u up for school
so maybe his music means so much to YOU cas you were raised and lived in your hood and what not..thats fine.. truth is.. his music had very global messages that different people could take different ways. you saying white suburb kids have no place singing 2pac songs is ignorant ... just cas i cant 100% relate to what he is saying doesnt mean i cant listen to it and respect what he's saying..
@bigmike616 So basically... "300blocctildeath" (a name like THAT just deserves quotation marks) is judging you based on the way you look. Isn't one of the strongest messages in Tupacs music one of anti-racism?
See, that's BS, I'm sorry but I have to offer my two cents in on this. Who says these guys lived in the burbs? Who says white people can't relate to a song about growing up in the hood? What you think only Mexicans and blacks grow up in hoods? Or grow up poor? That's bullshit. I'm white/mexican, dad's white and mom's mexican, now I didn't grow up in no hood, but I didn't grow up in the burbs with advantages at my feet and getting everything I wanted either.
After my dad retired and became an electrician, things got hard. I remember times when we had to shop at the dollar store for food, I remember when we would have to make sure we had our car in the garage to hide it so it wouldn't be taken in the middle of the night 'cause my parents missed a payment, hell, one of our cars we had to start with a screwdriver! Shit, one house we lived in, there was a homicide down the street 'cause it was a drug house.. and this was in just a regular neighborhood.
You need to realize that just 'cause a person is of a certain color they don't have better advantages, in this case, white.. you seem to think that all whites have it made and are living on easy street.. that's BS.. my father has worked his ass off for over 40 years and we're not living in mansions, kicking back and having it easy. He's 53 years old and he's still working his ass off to make it in this world, to survive, and to provide for his family and my parents don't own a house, they rent.
So before you go talking about life in the hood, you need to realize that it's not always golden rainbows for other people, and just 'cause some white people have it easy, that doesn't mean all white people have it easy.
I am sorry for my long winded diatribe, but I just had to address the topic.
yeah wow. mom didnt dress me or school and ive been on my own since before i even finished highschool. so i can feel the shit out of this song. i know what its like to hear people being beaten and killed outside of my old apartment i know what its like to not eat for days. you dont care whether or not we can relate to this song. your just playing the " who's the poorest" game. if it means that much to you, than this honky will step back and let you have the first place spot.
nigga bein ghetto aint a good thing. i aint ghetto cuz i get mine cuzz. and cwallpiff i bet i'd school ur east coast bitch ass. fucc the east coast...and no i dont say that just cuz of pac and biggie's war
you just need to relax man. its an amazing song that ive loved since i first heard it. and we may not be ghetto or impoverished but this is our tribute to Pac for being an amazing artist. this has nothing to do with socio-economic views or like i said " who's the poorest."
@300blocctildeath man how do you know they never went through some heavy shit? im white and live in the suburbs now but before i went through some shit that you never will. your assuming that just cause they are white that they havnt went through tough shit. dont assume stuff when you have no clue who they are. YDG?! getbehinditbitch

i said it before and i will keep sayin it...white suburb kids just shouldn't sing pac songs...they dont kno wat it's really like in the hood so they can't feel it the same way...they never witnessed the poverty that you still see. it's watever though
music is music dude...i never claimed to witness poverty and shit along those lines...but honestly do you really think that tupac only made music for people who lived in the hood ?
This may have all happened 11 months ago - but fuck it. Didn't Tupac go to theatre school? I do like his music, but he was just another prick who thought he was Jesus.
yeah wow boss. im the guy with the black shirt and the white hair. i just lost my job and someone broke into my car and wrecked the insides and stole my stereo system. im late on my rent and i have bills out the ass that you would believe. going with my buddy Mike im gonna say that music is music and i think Pac rolled from the whole poverty jive when he said Thug Life is Dead. so this white boy who lives in an apartment does know a little something about being broke. you may wanna rethink stuff
@300blocctildeath I see what your saying. I am a white suburb white kid. I didnt have the perfect life, but nobody did. I could tell you one thing how life was a little fucked up and you could do the same back to me. That is the point. This song means so much to me. My interpretation of the song is that despite all the bullshit in the world, just let me know there is someplace after. Brother, that gives me so much peace, are you really trying to take that away from the white suburban kid?
@300blocctildeath The problem with that message is that only the most ignorant, racist, uneducated, unintelligent of our society will actually agree with you. I hope you never get out of the hood with a mentality like that.
@300blocctildeath And don't even tell me what you said isn't racist. Countless people would call me racist if I were to say something like "black hood kids shouldn't sing (any genre other than gangsta rap) songs".
@300blocctildeath you think only black people know what its like to suffer through poverty!?!?!? music is for the soul not the skin and pac would tell you that himself. you obviously just dont fully understand what pac is all about
