  • give honer to who honor is due.

  • Fresh and fun! Muy bien!

  • Rubbish

  • @poupee58 it is rubbish, but Pepe thinks he is great. I have talked to him once. Forget him, he is boring.

  • @emeraldomusik

I don't know, I've never really "connected" with any of the romero's way of playing.. maybe a bit with Angel but that's also all.. I do think Pepe plays quite nice legato scales though!

  • @pR0t0typ3mec2 "nice legato scales" ? ok , but nothing other than this,. i prefer some good music. Romero is boring, forget him .

  • wow! ...tullido!

  • Gradioso!!!

  • That sucked

  • PEPE DOES VAN HALEN!!!

  • muy bien Pepe, bonita guajira. Un saludo

  • what this song

  • Genial!

  • for those that think it is trick playing, just pick up a Classical and see what ya can do,,

practicing for eight hours a day for five years may get you to a decent level of playing but still nowhere like Pepe can play on this video,,

  • @Derry1M Practicing for 8 hours a day for five years would accumulate you 14,600 hours of practice. There is a theory out there that 10,000 hours of practice is needed for mastery of anything. So i think 8 hours a day for 5 years would be pretty good...

Of course, playing with soul isn't something that can be taught so easily...

  • @Hektor88

that theory is so false :P

  • @pabcq It actually has quite a lot of neuroscientific backing. look up "10,000 hour theory."

  • This might be common knowledge but is that a Hernandez y Rodriguez guitar? Mastery old school nonetheless!

  • Rubbish music ,what a bore.All tricks.

  • @poupee58 You have no idea how blessed you are to see this video...you are supremely ignorant...I feel sorry for you...you will be in my prayers to lift the cloud that keeps you mired in blindness...God bless you.

  • @concerthallrecords Sir you are absolute in your staement in regards to poopoo58 ....Thank you

  • @concerthallrecords

No offence mr concerthallrecords, but I agree with poupee58.. this music, while not being "rubbish" is quite simple and relies a lot on different techniques to make it seem more complex than it is. It's hardly the best representation of what classical guitar is about..

  • @pR0t0typ3mec2 that is exactly what i am telling since years. Even a great part of classical music in the strict sense of the term (Wiener Schule) is rather primitive if you compare it to the great baroque masters. By the way Pepe Romero is a mediocre player.

  • @concerthallrecords this music is superficial, no depth, no meaning. when Pepe was young the only rivals on guitar were Bream and Segovia. a joke ! He is still living in that time.

  • @emeraldomusikI

One who criticizes anyone should be ashamed, get busy improving yourself in all the departments of your life. Do you feel you become a better and bigger person by cutting down others? Even the greatest works of art have flaws, why not enjoy them for their charm and simplicity? You miss the whole point of this music.

  • @concerthallrecords OK go on criticising me, you are allowed to ! But keep Pepe's music away from me, he plays like somebody who has always been praised much too much.

  • @concerthallrecords So you think that people are not allowed to voice their opinion on anything related to their taste? Why not just accept that emeraldomusikl doesn't like Pepes playing instead of attacking him? If anything attack his views because by attacking him you reveal yourself as being excactly what you critize him for. And in regards to Pepes playing, the pointt of the whole thing is that he (nor I) enjoy his playing very much. That doesn't mean I have anything against him personally.

  • @concerthallrecords DON'T FEED THE TROLLS. They obviously needn't comment on something they don't like; they just do it to antagonize others. I would personally give my 401(k) to be able to play this piece. It is beautiful! @Pepe Romero: un saludo, Maestro!

  • a prove that you don´t need very high speed to make excellent sound.

  • Gran admiracion a mi querido maestro y amigo Don Pepe Romero

    Saludos desde México

  • Felicidedes!

    Saludos de Mexico,

    Mau.

  • Cada nota es una extension de su cuerpo, siente cada fraseo e imprime esa sensacion extraña q se apodera de todo suceso

  • Excelente... Grande maestro Pepe Romero.

  • Absolutely fantastic! I can't believe there aren't more views or comments. He is a legend that we should be happy to have still living and performing

  • couldn't they use digital cameras to avoid that annoying camera sound, or is it more "classical" to use wind up cameras

  • uaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaho. Bravo maestro. Somebody knows the name of this piece?

  • @wichnny se llama Fantasia y es una suite de Celidonio romero el padre de pepe romero

  • Bravo Pepe!

A living legend with a tecnique that is almost impossible to beat!

    Best Regards from Athens
