maybe you can help me. i jus installed Bi-Xenon on a 2008 Ford F150. Two problems: (1) when i start my engine, the passenger side wont automativally come on as the driver side does. (however if i turn the knob all the way to the right, it will kick on) and (2) my high beam indicator light remains illuminated. (there is no difference in my high or low beam when engaged either) Please help as soon as possible as i am in the military and dont get a chance to be online too often.

People are saying 'just buy projectors'. Um well, if you were smart, you would know that there aren't projectors for EVERY car(like mine 03 mazda p5). These video's are giving you a how-to on retro-fitting projectors into lenses where they don't mass produce projector housings. Plus retro-fitting is a way of personally customizing your car the way you want it. Why would I want my car to look like someone else's with their 'store bought' projectors?

Cool i did about the same thing when converting my old reflectors, but instead of doing it on the ground, the reflector was on my toolbox, used tape to mark everything, my garage door was a tape mess!

I have after market hid lights and the light is scattered. Any reason why? I checked the inside of my projector lenses, and it does have that metal shield just after the hid's that I thought was responsible for making the light shine straight from left to right. Instead its shining in the road and in other drivers eyes.

@CBH I actually took apart the housing and it is a projector housing. If i take a flash light and put it flush with the back of the housing, and shine the light through the projector lens, I get the straight line of light. I was told it could be the type of bulbs I am using. Thanks.

Also because in the case of my car you can't go on ebay and buy a set of projector housings so they must be made custom like this.

Get the projectors at the retrofit source.com and if you get glue on the lens use some goo-gone and a soft rag and you will be good to go!

HID coversion kit including installation is only $100, I recently had them done on my Lexus S300, it is not expensive, so why go through all that. This vid is rediculous and i would not advise an amateur to perform it. Even a profesional would not attempt that. It is only $100, and no headaches.

The people who say this is pointless are probably the same asshats that drive around with HID kits with no projectors so they blind everyone else on the road.
