@livenlrge The 2nd account in Gen. is a detailed re-visit of the 6th and 7th days that were previously mentioned. God didn't create Adam on the 8th day. The reason there are 2 accounts in Gen. is because 2 versions of the story existed before Genesis was written. They new better than to change by merging them into one story. They inserted the 2nd one after the 1st instead of breaking the "7 day flow" of the 1st one. In source texts, the exact same word is used where you cite "man" vs. "Adam".

However there are no distinct biological qualities that are both exclusive to a particular race, and appear in virtually all of it's members to distinguish them from other ethnic groups. Whites can have DNA markers common in blacks and still be white.
