truthfully i think that this is one of the cleanest air restrictor mods i have seen, but to achieve maximum range out of a nerf gun, having the know how and ability to take apart and reassemble a nerf gun correctly, is important (eg. Orange Mod Works check them out).

By removing the air restrictor,you add more stress to the plunger tube and if you fire it without darts a couple of time,the plunger tube will just explode.so if you are going to take out the restrictor on any gun,I advice you to put a piece of foam in the tube to absorb the stress.this applies to all guns

@alfyan99 You, sir, don't quite understand what you're talking about. If you cite an incident when that occurred, you either had a bump product, or more modifications were performed. I have a deploy that has fired well over 400 times with not only the AR removed, but a spring replacement as well. Yes, additional stress exists on the bolt sled, but it is negligible at best.

I have a 15/32" drill bit. I am not certain because I do not have calipers, and none of my rulers or tapemeasures have 32" marks. I am guessing it is cause it says on it 15/32. Is there a way to be certain, and will this be too big to do this.

you have the long strike take the barrel off the long strike and put it on the front of the deploy ( you can also do this with a recon barrel

Guys just take something like a coat hanger with a point on the end...I used a sharpened pencil, and HOLD THE GRIP UP and jam the Pencil in the barrel just did it it shot like 40 ft. Do this at your own risk though.

That is not a longshot. that is a longstrike, which is much less deserving of the sniper rifle shape. FYI, it has the same internals and power as that deploy and recon.

As a zomb player and fellow nerf enthusiast.... that is a ner longStrike, not longshot... and personaly the longshot is a stronger shot then the longstrike.. basically the same gun though

@poonagellama17 actually the longstrike shoots from a longer distance. well mine does, because some nerf guns arent made properly, mine was, it shoots up to 55 feet i measured it. :)
