This reminds me of how my father would use old diapers leftover from when my sister and I still needed them. He would wrap them around his head and use them as sweat bands when working in the summer heat... Thanks for getting me to remember those fond memories :)

i play santa every year for sick children...one year they gave me gifts to give out to the staff that works at the children's home,towards the end of the night the staff had a lil to drink and started to get nasty with me.they hated their gifts..woman and men got a diffrent kind of pads for women,i had no clue,but santa got ruffed up by a few drunks that night..freakin' frackin' frooks!!!

Now, I'm going to tell you a secret, nobody else read this: My Dad took over his father's shoe repair business after my grandfather passed. I was about 1 year old. I grew up fixing shoes. I can make any shoe look beautiful. Eventually, I became the 'dye girl' for my dads ..ect

Department store accounts. It was in the 80's when women would buy dresses, then buy white heels and have to clothing store send them out to be dyed to match the dress. I would get the dresses and then spend a lot of time trying to get the color perfectly matched for the shoes. Man, it was SOOO much fun, and I think it was just about my favorite job ever. Plus, Both my parents worked 60 + hours a week, so I got to spend tons of time with them. What a wonderful experience that was.

I guess my point is, you peepee leakage padding for the shoes is a genius idea. Although... I hope it doesn't start to slip as out your hubby walks around. Lovely story Gina. My Dad & Mom ran a gift shop in the 60's, and right across the street was a tiny shoe repair business. They did the best dye jobs! I always liked taking my new shoes in to have those little metal click things put on the heels. Love You!
