As for Caesar, there is -no doubt- that he lived. You can't have more proof than what we have: who knows how many busts and statues, his name passed to Augustus, the effects he himself had on the Roman political system, and, of course, the physical remains of his campaigns in Gaul.

Yeah, Caesar's existence is about 110% proven.
