why would you take the bumper cover off the rebar and then take the rebar off? The whole thing comes off in one piece if you leave the cover on the rebar. You just created so much extra work for yourself.
I have a 1990 Honda Accord LX, same body type as your 91. The headlights are over some of the bumper screws. I noticed in this video that your headlights are behind the bumper screws. How did you get the headlights to go behind the bumper screws?
I would like to know how you broke the stupid plastic rivets on the bumper. Where you said you were gonna' drill new holes. I would like to see that part.
@snowboarderdude you have to break the plastic screws IF they dont screw off. If they screw off you can re-use them. about the drilling new holes you dont have to do that, all you have to do is use the same hole the screws were originally placed, you can buy the same bumper screws in any automotive shop, like kragen or napa etc...they're like five bucks and you'll have enough to even replace back bumper if you needed to. at least take a sample of the broken screw so you know what you need
@snowboarderdude You rip out the plastic rivets on the bumper by using needle nose pliers and ripping the crap out of them and then pulling them out. They are suppose to unscrew but probably wont cuz of poor design and age. You can replace them with rivets or clips from loews or home depot. No need to drill new holes.
I forgot to mention that i fixed all the issues on the 91 exr whith the parts from the 90 and now its pretty cool dgreen ,tint windows all around sunroof all accesories work except ac,thinging of removing it,im used to working on vw but i really like this style accord very suprised with the performance the 90ex without air filter was able to race with new mustangs.
do you need to do all that just to change the headlights,do you think headlights from a 1990 would work with the inside lights drl,and how mutch does that aftermarket air filter help.Im asking becouse i just got a verry cool 91 exr that had a loot of issues after i killed the clutch on my 90ex that looked like crap, but had a beautifull interrior, and verry mech sound.but it is sitting by a condo unregistered
and they are gonna tow it.I cant figure out the headlights and im running out of time
Thanks a lot. These videos saved me some money

the bumper screws under the headlights can be reached by unclipping the headlight housing glass or plastic that holds it
