It was a pretty bad break, I had to have surgery and get a permanent screw in my big toe.

No, since I got hurt, I couldn't compete so I had to go back up and scratch.

Yes it is, that would be embarrassing if my mom ran out there, and spectators are not aloud in the competition area. That is what your coach is for. My mom is always there for me and she took me to the hospital right away!

how long did your toe take to heal before you went back to gymnastics?

Well first I had surgery and got a screw put in my big toe. A week after my surgery I was back in the gym doing upper body stuff. At 6 weeks it was completely heeled!
