What I don't get, is why females/people mutilate THEMSELVES. Piercings of ears, tongues, nose, pipes, genitals, its stupid. The same goes for tatoos. They make no GD sense to me.  Why do that to your body? And they think they are making it look... better????

i like these videos mostly. though, im not entirely sure whats the matte with the oppressing system. I can think, they may have a long term plan already, wich we cannot see now. being harmless (as far as we can) is a goal, which should be sustained. However, i don't know how to get there, where everyone would be harmless.

I read that collection of essays and found it good five years ago, but I have come to find that she doesn't know much about Africa even though she talks like they are coming from the same perspective as black people in North America.

You and I and most guys over 30 were circumcised as a newborn without Anastasia! The medical quacks were under the impression that a newly formed nervous system couldn't feel pain or some bs like that. Then some bright boy hooked up some monitoring devices and saw the heart rate spike while the baby screamed in agony while he was circumcised. Nowadays thank goodness at least they numb the kid up before chopping off part of his genitals.

2. I disagree with your opinion that violence against women is the biggest problem. The real problem is violence against men and boys. Boys are brought up to violence and are rewarded and respected more if they can endure violence, and if the violence is inflicted within the social framework the best ones at inflicting violence are also the most highly respected. We're taught that our own feelings don't matter and when we believe that we also believe that no one else's feelings matter either.

Still you're in a better position - though still a horrible one - if you're taught to be the perpetrator of violence than if you're the victim. The spirits of both genders are being bent and twisted, only women also lose their physical integrity more often in the process.

Actually the majority of violence between men and women is women inflicting violence on men. They seem to think it's ok for some weird reason. You see it all the time. In public it's more like a medium sized slap when the man dares to say something the woman doesn't like. But in private it escalates. One friend of mine had the crap slapped out of him by his wife (while she was holding his 2 year old daughter as a human shield). Disgusting.

2. It's actually pretty rare for a woman to be submissive these days. They know for a fact that all she has to do is make a false sexual misconduct accusation and the police will drag the man off to jail. Then she can file a "fear for her life" complaint and the courts will issue a no contact order, kick him out of the home and nail him with crippling child support payments, with the "imputed income" kicker. That clearly puts women into the more powerful role in a relationship and the know it.

3. This terrible imbalance of power has made the idea of marriage intolerable to me (and a hefty percentage of single men in the entire western world). I won't put myself into a position of servitude to ANYONE! It's too bad really because I would have made a great husband.

Oh well, it's not a total loss. Single life has allowed me to save money, live frugally, pay off all my debts including my home, and now after all my monthly spending is done, I still have about 2600 left over.

This is what has made the idea of marriage intolerable to *me*. @vention4wh Also, what you're saying about sexual misconduct is an idealized version of how the justice system works. Only 5% of men who are conducted of rape (which is the most serious form of sexual misconduct, so you can imagine what happens with the rest) actually spend any time in jail. A restricting order can be violated (if you're not wearing an electronic gyve) and is way less serious than having to fear for your life because you have a stalker or something similar.

I know that this is not right and that there are men who are abused by their girlfriends or wives but the reason why this can continue is because of the routine victimization of women itself.

Society may be more accepting of violent abuse by women against men but it's still disgusting and wrong. And since women know that the man can't return their violence without jail time, it's also an act of extreme cowardice. Still, they do it. And when the man has finally had enough and has the bruises and cuts to prove it, calls the police to file a complaint, expecting help. What happens? The police arrest him and toss him in jail.

Women are just too dangerous to associate with.

@vention4wh I never denied it's disgusting and wrong but violence in our society is, when it discriminates by gender, overwhelmingly done by men to women. most of the "family tragedies" are commited by men, almost all the rape, most of the domestic violence, most of the "everyday" sexual harrassment. Of course sometimes women lie about these things and sometimes women are violent towards men - but most of the time it's the other way round. Just more proof that patriarchy hurts everyone.

Of course it only gets into the news when the man has finally had all he can take, & knowing the authorities won't help him, he returns the violence. It often takes a couple years of abuse to push a man that far though. So you get two years of violent abuse, then the man is backed into a corner and fights back. When that happens the woman loses.

Of course there a crazy people who will abuse others and do all that crazy stalking stuff but they are pretty rare. And the family tragedies where the man kills the woman are also very rare but they happen. Far more often though, the man simply kills himself. Even during a divorce it's still vastly more common for the man to suicide than he is to resort to murder. However since society doesn't value men, it rarely gets into the news when a man kills himself. No one cares if we die.

No, it's not a huge conspiracy against men. The problem is that our entire society is geared toward protecting women at the expense of men. If a male air traffic controller makes a mistake that causes a crash, he'll be fired or jailed. If a woman makes the same mistake, She'll get grief counseling, time off work and she'll get her job back when her grieving period is over. It happens all the time.

The men who hold power have a natural desire to protect women, but it's gone too far.

I disagree with your opinion that men make more money than women for doing the same work. We tend to make more money because we do all the most dirty, back breaking, dangerous jobs there are. If there is a job that involves great danger or being outside in bad weather, the job will be mostly staffed by men. If the job is inside and comfortable, safe and involves perhaps typing or working with people, with pleasant music playing, it will be mostly staffed by women.

If a man and a woman are doing the same job within a company and have the same number of years on the job, they'll make the same money. If the woman even suspects she might get a penny less, she'll sue and the company will be forced to pay her a half million or so. So companies are paranoid about such things and make very certain that women make just as much or more for the same job.

Yes there are many jobs that pay well, including mine. But they tend to be dangerous or they require a lot of physical strength. In my career as a heavy diesel truck mechanic, we do get a woman every once in a while who tries to be a mechanic. The problem is that the things you are supposed to lift and work with are too heavy for nearly all women. They make the good money for a while but then they get hurt way more often and end up moving up into management or into another job.

And although I got rid of my TV about 3 years ago, I still remember how advertising was so heavily targeted toward women. Women control the majority of spending decisions in the household so they are heavily catered to by the entertainment industry. They pick attractive actors as well as actresses and they cater to every market they can reach. I doubt they target men more but that's just my opinion. I don't have any stats to point to on this one though.

@vention4wh What you're saying about jobs is just not true. You can look up the statistics everywhere. A woman gets about 70c for doing the exact same job for which a man gets 1$ (or €, it's about the same). Also, men make up about 95% of high-ranking managers and CEOs. I don't have any exact statistics on politics but it's similar, maybe 70:30. 1 in 14 professors is female. I hope you have some statistics to back up your claims, otherwise our discussion is starting to get pointless.

I don't know where you're getting your stats but they're wrong. In 1963 the equal pay act was signed into law. Any woman making less than a man who's doing the same job can sue and win in court. It's the law. Whoever told you differently is lying to you. You may have picked up your opinions in an institution of higher learning but I have to caution you, the most radical of feminist ideas have a stranglehold on such institutions. They have a loud voice but that doesn't make them right

I've also pointed out already that men are raised to be the ones to do the dangerous stuff because they're raised to be the strong ones, while women are raised to be the weak ones. I think your understanding of contemporary society could benefit greatly from some feminist theory because it would show you how men's and women's oppression are intertwined, but I'm not going to mouth-feed you via YT comments. I didn't say that society is controlled by women. I said it was geared toward protecting women. In any situation where a person can get in trouble, the penalty is lower for women. If a woman is convicted of a crime she'll nearly always get a shorter prison sentence than a man will.

For example in a 2001 study by David Mustard, female bank robbers get an average of 21 months less prison time than men do. Why is that? The study shows that women receive smaller sentences for every crime

Islam states that it is the male that has to go to work and provide for the women he marries and the children. If there are women without husbands and a male has the financial ability to support a maximum of 4 wives, then he is permitted to do so.
