If the black bar comes up when you open cydia, tap the blue cancle button. Go to manage, then go to pakages, then uninstall Cydia Installer, then rejailbreak. This is not harmful, but doing this will delete all of yoyr sources and all of your cydia apps to where you will hace to install them in cydia to remove them.

@kayla0902 that happens 2 me once I need to uninstall not just delete . Basiclyy u Ned 2 restore ur iPod. You will loose EVERYTHING unless u backed it up. I didn't LOL

I jailbroken my iPod touch and I got cydia and I downloaded this thing it's called winter something (I can't remember the rest of the title) to get some free backgrounds and I don't want the winter thing anymore so I try to delete it so I go to cydia and I try to delete it so it starts to delete it from my iPod so I'm waiting like 15 mins and it's not working! I tried held down the power button that locks the screen and the home button to like turn off my iPod and turn it

@Oringanalmilkmilo if you have ifile or ssh you have to go to var lib then apt and list and delete every thing except for the partial if this doesnt work then just rejailbreak it

try this.... head to mange and on the top there should be a thing thats says SETTINGS... redo that and see or just try to reinstall all of your source's... get bk to me if this works.... my ipod did this to me, last night.... mr sound
