I have never met anyone at University with this kind of deficiency in skills. There were 6 classes in my school for maths, with set 1 being the highest in skills and 6 the lowest. Basically, anything lower than 3, there was no order in the classroom.

Only consider university if your profession requires it (lawyer, engineer, archeologist etc). Racking up huge debts and then going to work in an office makes no sense but it happens far too often. There aren't enough "graduate level" jobs to go round.

The problem is simple, the education system assumes everyone is the same. Thus teaching 30 students the same thing at the same time and expecting them all to understand the material is perfectly fine. Well I know from my experience this is not true at all. Everyone learns differently, thus individuals need individual education. Expecting all 30 student in a class with only one teacher to succeed is just plain stupid.

White English people find it hard to read and do simple math. The school system is at fault. Moreover the government needs to look into how they teach 4-18 year olds.
