  • Interesting!

    just a question why 17 shots ? why not 18 or 36 ?

  • Good job not hitting it fat....it doesn't matter what kind of swing you have, if your divots start behind the golf ball then you fucking suck.

  • Nice easy swing, he let gravity and centrifugal force take over on the downswing while maintaining his tilt.

  • S&T has been around forever.See Ben Hogans swing. He has been accused of having a "reverse pivot" (which of course he didn't).Hogan had more weight on the front foot at the top of the backswing but at the finish of the swing he had 95 plus % on the front foot. That's "stack and tilt" in a nutshell.Once you master that the hard part is to load, retain and properly release your power accumulators and to control the clubface into impact with the back of your left hand. All gravy from then on :)

  • Stack and Tilt is awesome...my spine angle never moves off the golf ball....hit the ball solid everytime.

  • Thanks to embracing S&T and putting in some time to really learn the swing method; I went from being a very frustrated 18 handicapper that used never know what was going to happen when I went out and played, to winning one of our board comps with a 61, just this weekend.

If anyone reading this ISN'T doing S&T and is wondering whether to give it a go, I can honestly say it had changed my game and subsequently meant that I truly enjoy the game of golf.

  • @lukeashley76 i am so on the fence about this swing. ive been putting hours of research into this swing to decide wether or not to switch over. seeing your message is kinda funny as it pertains to what im feeling lol. i just hope you are for real about it. quick question though, how is your distances with all your clubs since you switched to s and t?

  • except the 18th was a shank

  • lol i can do this with a conventional swing...hes also a pro...so he shouldnt have too much trouble doing this if he hits balls regularily

  • @Thealbatrossking

how the hell can you do this with a conventional swing if you never move the majority of your weight to the right side?

  • Oh and what type of ball flight does this technique produce? i'm guessing a low draw given your hitting down on the ball from an inside path and wouldnt this be difficult with a driver where we have always been taught to sit back and hit up on the ball, wouldnt this action be choppy?

  • @Dreama40 draw, no the action isn't choppy and you stay centered over your stance not the ball with the driver

  • Can someone please explain EXACTLY what the tilt is, is it the shoulder turn, or a dipping motion??, I understand the stack part, weight forward centred over the ball but not fully sure what is meant by tilt!! someone??

  • @Dreama40 you dont rotate your hipe alot you just tilt your shoulders..

  • They're right. You should hit the ball first. Otherwise, you hit the ground first. That's called hitting it fat. Hitting it fat is not good.

  • Stack and Tilt dropped my handicap by 12 strokes (and it keeps going down). I think some people overdo or do the "tilt" portion of the swing. The tilt simply keeps your head over the ball during the backswing. Don't think about tilting as much as keeping your head over the ball and weight forward. The "tilt" will take care of itself. There's a lot more to the swing than what people might think. Buy the dvd if you're tired of sucking at golf and hitting short shots. For real.

  • @SectionF4 i think im sold on this swing. where do i get the dvd from and how much?

  • Everyone complains so much on these videos. Maybe the reason it didn't work is YOU, not the creators. Don't get butthurt because you try different swings and don't immediately become a scratch golfer. It's not the method, it's the implementor.

  • @RandomDudeYouKnow Amen could not of said it better. Nice work bro

  • Now i see why the stack and tilt doesnt work which is because the lead instructor inst even implementing the full technique he describes. He's still very centered on the back swing and not commiting to the left side which is what he instructs. Instead he's leaning back slightly on the down swing.. I tried this crap and looking at this visual compared to to his instructions are two entirely different things

  • @Gyro911 S&T is a center pivot one plane swing. During the back swing you are to turn on a center axis and feel as if your weight is more forward.

  • @Gyro911

guy listen , You never really keep moving weight anywhere.... you stack on your left side 60//40 and just keep your weight centered with that proportion the whole backswing until you fire through the golf ball and you have to stay back on the golf ball which is what he is doing. the tilt bullshit is just fake shit from the magazines.

  • @justinp766 LOL S&T is a wedge swing to put it simply. It absolutely sucks for long irons since it will force a low short ball flight. I tried this swing as i said and it doesnt work well. YOu will not get good ball flight with the long clubs.

  • What does geometrically sound mean? And would you teach your child to bat a baseball with these fundamentals? The best he could do is excuse me bloop single to right field with that checked swing and no weight shift. How can there be so many sheep in the golf world?

  • @Inmotion70 First off, my kid can put a baseball into orbit. Any player knows that your experience over the ball is very different from watching it on video. I can look at this swing and observe and appreciate where the lines are and why the ball offers a particular piece of feedback to the golfer. I would be more than happy to explain the geometry to you so that when you do see your swing on video you can intellegently calculate where the club should be in an effort to gain a better feel.

  • @KCGOLFER2010 These comments are outlandish right? This guy could hit a 100 balls all to the same target right down his intended line of flight all day long. I'm impressed.

  • Whats wrong with u guys, this is a great technique.

  • @mrgroovies I agree with your comment! That swing is great technique. It's geometrically sound! If I had one comment, it would be that the term stack and tilt is a very loose term used to describe it. How they describe it versus what I observe and feel are very different and that is why all these comments appear to be so outlandish on youtube. It is next to impossible to articulate a feel which is why the pictures are so much more helpful! No question, that swing is sound. Just Watch!

  • EVERY!!!! good player strikes the ball first. This means absolutely nothing.

  • @taylormadeNo1 Thats what I was thinking. Jees, Im 7 handicap and could do this! t proves nothing

  • I would love to see him trying to hit a long iron from a downhill lie with that method. The moles would be running for cover.

  • zero...right. lol. My favortie line the dvd set.
