@emerald825 In the DVD of Stream of Passion Live you can hear singing scales and vocalises with her sister, mastering lyric singing technics. She might not be an opera singer but she uses technics of classical singing and adds it to rock technic. The most important here is her emotion and the way she holds the sounds. But I'll listen to Tarja Turunen. Do you know Natalie Dessay ? She's the best opera singer I know.

I had the chance to go to one of their concerts, and take some pictures with Marcela Bovio. And, IF THERE'S SOMEONE IN THIS WORLD THAT CAN SAY HOW AWESOME SHE IS, IT IS ME. Having the chance to be with her is almost equivalent to being with Tarja. And I had the chance to see her too, in 2008 when she went to Brazil :)

Very very nice piece of music. Classical elements, but still heavy. Dark tone, but still romantic. Beautiful singer, beautiful voice... And Lori's "kick ass" solo is close to perfection. Love it! ;o)

@dfwurob WT sounds like a pop rock band to me, with easy melodies, 3 notes chords, like Bon Jovi's. Arjen's work is much more rich and complex. Too bad you compare SOP work to this. Why not saying Evanescence with the female singer that has no technic and looses her voice at each concert ? Marcela is a real opera singer and what a sensitive woman... By the way I met the band few years ago after a show, they were so nice and joyful.

I like evanescence but MArcela Bovio has a finer, more powerfully compelling voice than Amy Lee. both women have their own unique styles so please, dont say Marcela is an evanescence wanna-be. She's classically trained and multi-talented. Amy Lee is just more popular because she's American. Darn, Mexicans rule...<3 (btw, im not Mexican :p)
