  • @Robvanstraten1 Yeaaah boyy!! you got that right :D

  • Hey hey hey. Everybody needs to chillax about religion and belief. I'm pretty sure that this song has nothing to do with any of that so I'm kinda confused as to why any of that came up. So chillax there snorelax, it's all gonna be alright:)

  • shame people arguing has ruined the comment section for this song. such a beautiful song, contrasted by one hell of an ugly comment section.

  • I want this song imprinted in my brain...

  • YouTube provides some of the most entertaining internet arguments. Gotta love the drama of it all.

  • Is the singer's name is Isabel Bayrakdarian?

  • Enjoy the music and stop being pricks.

  • Holy Shit people Shut the Fuck UP! Im know that one of you wants to be Right and the other Wrong. You cant just go around Telling People whats right and whats Not. You need to face the fact that people can Believe in what they Wish to beleive In. No one has a right to say other wise. Now plz All of you, We Are All Humans not matter what we belive In. No matter what. You can Belive in God, or Not. Its in the End that really matters. Now plz Go Live you Lives, not just bickering over This. :D

  • could you stop this fucking conversation about God... This is not church. If you believe in God go to church, pray, do what you think is best for you, cause write some shit here will not convert all humankind into your religion.

  • @patati91 This is a search for what is truth, and what is factual. You should ask yourself why you don't want to evaluate and reason through your beliefs. Since you don't believe that God exists, I want you to consider the evidence found in DNA. The chances of a sequence of human DNA (that produces 124 proteins) coming about by random causes is 1 in 10^89190th power. Statistical impossibility is 1 in 10^50th power, therefore there must have been an intelligent designer, i.e. God.

  • @guardianewjedijoel Believe what you want and let that be the end of it.

  • @shady1630 You should believe what is true, not what you wish to be true. You can certainly ignore all the "warning bridge out!" signs on the highway and pretend like they say something else, but in the end, the consequences of doing so is death (but yes you are correct in saying you may believe what ever you want to, but I'm warning you that there are consequences for any belief, and I can say for a fact you won't like the consequences of the belief you currently hold.)

  • @guardianewjedijoel Ok buddy, preach some more but not everyone shares your beliefs, I prefer to have an open mind. God isn't as clear to everyone as a road sign, so idk where you are going with your analogy

  • @shady1630 The Bible is the clear and literal Word of God (i.e. the road signs.) It's always been 100% accurate on everything that we can test, (no self contradictory errors, hundreds and hundreds of fulfilled prophesies, and archeology verifies it's historical accounts for example.) so it would be logical to trust it on the things that we can't test. (i.e. it's claims about hell and heaven being real places, salvation, etc.) So the question is, why don't you believe the Bible?

  • @guardianewjedijoel That is so fucking ignorant of you. You think just because something is so complex past human's mental capacities that some greater power had to have created it. We live in that greater power, the universe you fucking retard. Stop being happy with not understanding the world and making up things to explain that which we don't yet understand. Use reason for once in your life, If this so called god of yours gave you reason then why don't you use it.

  • @NoNameMcStickles So what is your argument against the evidence found in the statistical analysis of DNA?If your argument is that "I'm a ****ing retard," that is an Ad Hominem fallacy, and is not a refutation of my argument. There are only two options: there was a designer, (i.e. God) or there wasn't. (i.e. random chance) I have already provided evidence that the chances of DNA coming about by random means is well beyond statistically impossible, therefore there was a designer.

  • @guardianewjedijoel I bet you where raised in a very devout Christian family.

  • @guardianewjedijoel

Let them deny my friend, let them be limited to the very shallow boundaries of this materialistic life; For very few experience feelings beyond their own flesh.

Let them deny their spirits, and they shall take responsibility of their denial and be denied themselves in the one day that all fears.

  • @guardianewjedijoel calm down man. just listen to this song and RELAX

  • i just love listening to the lord of the rings and harry potter music, it is so other-worldly and beautiful.

  • I wish life was so easy... To be less realistic, and more ,,fantastic". I mean in the way we can confront Our fears, doubts. The world where we can simply see that evil is personificated, because only then we can confront it. Like it doesn't happen in Our ,,real life" much often. Maybe that's the reason of why i would never stop LOTR, both the movie and the world created by Tolkien itself.

  • why am i crying:S

  • This song makes me realize that life isn't about jobs and money and greed and ambition, but about our own connection to the universe. What is life? Are we the universes admiration of itself? Our universe is seemingly so complex yet at the same time enveloped in systems that can be figured out with mathematical equations. Surely there is some reason why life is here. But we must move forward as a species to discover our purpose in this universe. To uncover its mysteries and become one with it.

  • @NoNameMcStickles I agree with you, there is no other thing I would rather achieve than to know truth. There was a man around 2000 years ago who claimed to be that source of truth, (indeed truth itself) and as he fulfilled 300 prophesies written hundreds of years before His birth (and the chances of Him fulfilling just 8 of them is 1 in 100 trillion) I would say that what He claimed was truth. This man was God, and His name is Jesus, and He offers you salvation from your sins

  • @guardianewjedijoel Not really what I was getting at. I'm not religious and I don't believe Jesus was real but rather based of the Egyptian Prophet named Horus. The two share the same traits and their story is based off constellations. Two hands working can do more than a thousand clasped in prayer. And if there were a God, I think it very unlikely that He would have such an uneasy vanity as to be offended by those who doubt His existence. You keep believing, I'll keep evolving.

  • @NoNameMcStickles If you don't believe Jesus was a real person, you first have to discredit 24,000 manuscripts that have a 99.5% self comparison internal accuracy, hundreds of eye witness accounts, and many non-biblical historical records documenting the historical figure of Jesus. My hands aren't clasped right now, they're working to convince you of that which is true. God isn't offended by those who doubt His existence, He's offended by those who sin, but He offers salvation.

  • @guardianewjedijoel The moabite stone and the ruins found at Jericho are both examples of how the Bible was accurate in archaeology, and the fact that the Bible has no internal self contradictory errors (taking into account that there were 40 authors of the Bible, who lived in different times, many never even met each other, spoke different languages, and lived on different continents) the only explanation is that God wrote the Bible through these men, as His Words claims.

  • @guardianewjedijoel Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able, and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God. Religion creates the most useful of slaves; those who think they are free. We would be 1,500 years ahead if it hadn't been for the church dragging science back by its coattails and burning our best minds at the stake.

  • @NoNameMcStickles God is a God of love, and He wanted and wants a loving relationship with man, but more specifically He wants you to CHOOSE to love Him; if He forced you to love Him, that would not be love. In order for their to be choice, there must be another option, and this other option is to rebel against God (which is the definition of sin/evil.)Evil exists because man used his free will to disobey, but you still have not answered the question "why does evil bother you?

  • @guardianewjedijoel Saying that Christianity is false because of the stubbornness of the Catholic Church in the Middle Ages is based in the fallacy "appeal to consequences of a belief," and is not an argument. Actually every major branch of science was started by creationists. (Sir Isaac Newton, Blaise Pascal, Pasteur, Leonardo da Vinci, Robert Boyle, and Wernher von Braun to name a few.) So if we were going by which side made the most advancements, creationism would win.

  • @guardianewjedijoel I don't believe in Evil or Good. These ideas are strictly Human. There is, no Absolute, no Reason, no God, no Spirit at work in the world: nothing but brute instinctive will to live. The more tightly you cling to your faith, the looser your grip is on reality. Every day the voice of atheism grows louder, more confident, backed by ever-increasing evidence, reason and logic. Every day the religious respond by sticking their fingers in their ears and shouting "La!La!La!La!La!".

  • @NoNameMcStickles If you believe there is no evil, then why do you have a problem with God killing people? You can't use (an incorrect definition of) evil to assert God is not good, (but rather evil) and then pretend like there is no evil; you have to pick one or the other. The statement "there is no absolute" is an absolute statement, and since it contradicts itself, it is false. What is your #1 piece of evidence for the beliefs of Atheism (if there are so many.)

  • @guardianewjedijoel Deaths in the Bible. God - 2,270,365 not including the victims of Noah's flood, Sodom and Gomorrah, or the many plagues, famines, fiery serpents, etc because no specific numbers were given. Satan - 10. I am against religion because it teaches us to be satisfied with not understanding the world. What can be asserted without proof can be dismissed without proof. Gods deon't kill people. People with Gods kill people.

  • @NoNameMcStickles Before you can list deaths as contradictions, you first have to explain why you think punishment by death is evil.Actually you have to define evil and explain why it bothers you before you can assume it should be avoided and condemned. In other words, whose standard are we going by?Who gets to decide what's right or wrong, and who gives them authority to do so?Other religions may teach not to understand the world, but Christianity is actually the exact opposite

  • @guardianewjedijoel Science flies people to the moon, religion flies people into buildings.. I look at it this way, the inspiration of the bible depends on the ignorance of the person who reads it, in your case you are extremely ignorant and nothing I can say will make you think otherwise. It is very difficult to reason someone out of a position they did not reason themselves into. The only difference beetween God and Santa is at a certain age we are told Santa isn't real.

  • @guardianewjedijoel I think, therefore I am atheist. A lie is a lie even if everyone believes it. The truth is the truth even if nobody believes it. I've found that most people that want to share their religious beliefs with you very rarely want you to share yours with them. It is better to grasp the universe as it really is than to persist in delusion, however satisfying and reassuring. If you believe in god so much, God made me an atheist. Who are you to question his wisdom?

  • Very fitting today

  • @yosoyelhombredeleche how come.

  • @dannymaclure1 musically, it just happens to match my mood...

  • Farewell, Frodo Baggins. I give you the light of Eärendil, our most beloved star.

May it be a light for you, in dark places, when all other lights go out.

  • how can u dislike this soundtrack?are u mad? pffff silly people

  • @trainer906 rebels

  • Does anyone know which track plays in the background when Gandalf gives Frodo that speech in the mines: "So do all who see such times but that is not for them to decide... so forth and so forth"

  • lord of the rings has the best soundtracks ever

  • If I were to dream of my fantasy world and live it to the full, it would be in the province of Middle Earth. There would be no other place that I would spend my life than with my favourite fantasy character's. I especially cannot wait until 'The Hobbit An Unexpected Journey'!

  • I want live in Middle Earth live to earth and farming :) and serve my land, fight evil^^

  • chills down my spine

  • Like if Leda is the reason u listened 2 this :)

  • I love to listen to this song once in a while.. Certain people in my life do not respect my dreams and my passion (dogs) They make jokes about it and about the dead ones... how arrogant can humanity be ? the world is full with arrogance and lazyness. That explains why I come here from time to time, to read these wonderfull comments, it truely gives me hope.. thank you

  • @gieske12345 It's good to see someone else lifted up by music. It's so sad to hear about the arrogance of the people around you. I'm assuming your passion is caring for dogs in some way. If you ask me that is one of the noblest passions there are. I wanted to become a vet, I have an amazing way with animals but school became difficult because of my mental health (anxiety and fear of people). But I'm still young (22) and music like this makes me believe I one day can become a vet.

  • @Znyrkifyable Yes, I a few months ago I lost my dog, he had a neck hernia and the costs were unafordable, we are not that rich.. Since then I feel very spiritual and wanting to do everything to honour my first dog.. to help other dogs and try to raise and live with other dogs to the fullest. I know what you are talking about when talking about anxiety.. I am home sick a lot.. But you have to be strong, and your dream wont come true if you don't suffer. For us all, there will be a perfect ending!

  • @gieske12345 Don't mind their jokes. There's nothing wrong with caring about dogs - I think that's awesome! Maybe they just wish they were as passionate about something. Sometimes I feel like people think stuff like that when it comes to my writing, but at the end of the day, it's all about what makes us happy. And I'm sure all the dogs in the world are happy to have people like you. Don't let go of hope. :)

  • @CritiquingCricket I won't, I have one good friend and he always tells me that it only cares what I think and how I feel about things. I will never give up my passion and hopefully I can make a change in the world, and can make my profession out of my hobby. thank you guys, the people who listen to this song are always the nicest in the world ;) lol thanks

  • @CritiquingCricket You're right, sometimes animals are less ,,animal" than people...

  • what category of music would this be?

  • @gazisaad هههه أهلاً بالمصريين

  • Leda brought me here (:

  • I have seen not the Great Eye, but the Lonely Mountain. My dream has only just begun

  • usually i hate this type of music. but this is beautiful. Watched the Lord of the Rings a hundred times over, sooo amazing! Soundtrack is the best!!!

  • "I don't know why.... but it makes me sad."

  • @xDangerouslyAwkwardx It's a sad song, look up the translation....

  • أغنية زي الفل

  • @SHamed92 انت الي زي الفل

  • how would you deal with the Who was your father died? you know that's hard to let go of someone special who you want to let him go not at all

  • No words....

  • wen ich das lieb höre mus ich immer an mein verstorbenen vater denken :'(

  • Always thought of the best girlfriend I ever had when I lsten to this.... she died 7 years ago :(...

  • Thank god for dreamers this world would be souless without them.

  • the bitterness of reality....

  • Every time i hear this song...it's just amazing...never heard something like that before :')

  • it gives me the shivers

  • Ive heard many soundtracks, the 300 soundtracks, the transformers, etc etc and i have to say out of all of them this has got to bo one of the best. And just for all of you stereo-typical people i listen to music such as death core and death metal.. so on and so forth, And i love this, so dont judge people by what they listen or look like. :)

  • As soon as the first note is out, chills go down my spine. This song makes me think of a world better than this one, where good always triumphs and justice is always done. It is not a bad thing to dream, is it? Some would say yes, but then they would be wrong. If we don't have dreams, what do we have?

  • @ownage505495 i agree with you, but not completely...i dont think justice is always done, and good always triumphs, if it did it wouldnt be a very good story. It reminds me of Gandalf addressing frodo when he wishes that Bilbo killed Gollum when he "had the chance". Gandalf: some that die deserve life and some that live deserve death. Can you give it to them Frodo?" So therefore life in middle earth is not really completely fair lol....

  • I cant stop hearing it

  • goosebumps every single time

  • Many a person have told me to wake up from this "dream world" I live in. but they dont understand, there is no comfort for me here, when I am dreaming I feel safe and happy.

Middle-earth may not exsist in reality, but, it exists through the boks and Tolkien's words, sorry no his works of art, it lives through me, through film and through book and it exists through the people who chose to believe.

  • ITS NO FANTASY!!!

  • Surely this song can only make every other composer feel inadequate

  • No words can describe how much this reaches into my soul

  • LOTR you have my heart and soul the best fantasy books and world ever to be written (tolkien) and directed (peter jackson), the best music a movie ever can create, I don't dare to listen to this song because if I do I will be drawn into another world Middle Earth, Peter jackson has done a great job making Tolkiens work so real too real to be true!

  • Such a beautiful tune...

  • Heard it in my Art class for the first time!!! :)

  • I want that song for my funeral.

  • Comment removed

  • Thumbs up for Sam!

  • Just " :´( " !!!!!!!!!!

  • The most beautiful song from any soundtrack. A real tear-wrencher.

  • am i the only one that thinks arwen is singing that song?

  • @okenta3ei actually, I think it really is her :) I remember seeing her singing this song in some special features I saw

  • @Ninjagurl13 This was sung by Canadian soprano Isabel Bayrakdarian. She does Armenian hymns and has opera in her repertoire.

  • thats music from fucking valinor...who could compose this????

  • When I was really little, and this movie had just come out on DVD, I walked in right when Frodo fell into Dead Marshes. I ran screaming and crying from the room (I was only six or seven) and I swore I would never watch any movie with my brother again. Five minutes later, I was sitting next to my brother watching FOTR and TTT. That was when my addiction to this trilogy began.

  • I just found my funeral song :'(

  • @Juneaid1 HOLY SHIT!! I just said the same thing!! I totally want this played at my funeral. Im gonna put it in my will. and its so bizarre that Im writing this and ... actually serious. O__O

  • @MizzDiDiz that was truly serene thanks for the idea ;)

  • nothing could ever describe this beauty...

  • the entire soundtrack..so epic..ok, now i'm crying

  • I dream of this world. Of the green vales, of the stars in the sky, of the walls of Minas Tirith, even of the darkness that lurks in the night. All of it is amazing. I dream of this world

  • hailedabear brought me here.

  • @Carmelfrap364 me too :) i just wanted to know what her tattoo said :)

  • This is gorgeous.

  • i wish i can escape to the Middle Earth

  • Who sings this?

  • @TheDeerFolk I'm not sure, I know that it's not actually a female singing, but a young boy (as in pre-puberty).

  • @IAmBound

    Nope, it's a woman....sorry

  • @Ixion26 hmmm, I think you might be right, the use of a young boy to sing a women's part an a song isn't uncommon though.

  • @TheDeerFolk It's Isabel Bayrakdarian, an Armenian Canadian opera singer. and she was nearly 30 when she sang this.

  • sooo wonderful <3 i love this

  • MizzDidiz, amazing effect!!!!! LOVE IT!
