Jesus never said to push to Christianity on other people, in fact that annoys people and makes them rebel. He said love one another. He wants you to spread his message, not force someone else to believe in god as you do. So if a man wants to fight for his country you won't let him? ... Who made you boss? By the way i'm strait.
He never pushed it on anybody; that is true. He said that he will knock on the door and if you don't open it then it's your decision. He never said he will barge in and force feed you a gallon and a half of Bible down your throat. But rejecting him has a consequence, and don't say we haven't warned you because we don't want to hurt you we want to help.
It was Paul, not Jesus, who said to pray in private. Jesus, by contrast cursed an entire town for not liking what he had to say, Matthew 11:21-24. To say "Jesus preached love and peace" is selective memory. He also said he would not bring peace but a sword. He also cursed a tree and cast demons into pigs. Not exactly a mentally stable fellow.
very well said, too bad some people are too stubborn to understand that.
and i mean Christians and non-Christians. many Christians forget that you should not force the Bible on ppl, so non-believers see this and they get turned off to ever coming to Christ.
personally, i try to use kindness to express my faith, the way Jesus said to
but people are often stubborn and dont want to listen because Chirtianity wont tell them that what they're doing is okay even though they know that it's wrong
Having homosexual people working in your administration is no sin. Homosexuals are just like everyone else. They may live in a lifestyle of sin, but so do liars and gossipers and everyone else in the world. If someone is so openly homosexual that it interferes with their work, then they shouldn't be hired, but other than that I see no problem with it. I'm a Christian and I disagree with the lifestyle of homosexuals, but at the same time I think the whole deal with homosexuality is overblown.
Right, homosexuality is a sin. I am in no way debating what the Bible says. Nor do I approve of homosexuality at all. It's a sin, but all sins are forgiveable and the same in God's sight, so why not in ours? Who are you to judge someone because they commit a different kind of sin than you?
It's the fact that they EMBRACE their sinful behavior - - and even promote it. They say it's healthy and reject God's Law in the process. Worse yet, Romans 1 makes it clear just how depraved their thinking must be in order to engage in that particular kind of sin.
When hiring employees, don't you think retaining people with that level of depravity will manifest itself in other ways? If not, maybe you don't really believe Scripture is correct when it speaks to this topic.
Wow you've got a narrowminded point of view. Religion should not dictate how people should live there lives. You're imposing your beliefs onto someone else. You're telling someone how to live there life!
Guess what. Christians aren't perfect either. Christians that attend church 2 or even 3 times a week are capable of committing sins that are worse than secular people. I'm a church going born again Christian and I've seen it myself.
I WANT NAMES! Would Huckabee vote for or against someone for President if they were gay (or mormom)? Religion is a choice, being gay is not. Huckabee is a poor example of a TRUE follower of Jesus Christ. Huckabee is an attention seeker and has America fooled. A wolf in sheep's clothing.
Why do people just listen to clips and not the entire story? I'm tired of this stupid crap.. best way to misrepresent anybody and twist the story any way you want it is to do this. Get a life, and the rest of the people who watch this, go watch the entire Larry King interview.
Granted the science of human life still belongs to a man and a woman, in one fashion or another, but the ROLE of nuturing life, protecting life or loving one another belongs to ANY man or woman, or any combination therin, who find themselves the strength and compassion required to truly protect and LOVE one another (even gays) from the heart like Jesus Christ does.
In the bible, Jesus says many times that he will burn people forever. What is nice about burning people? I think it would be very painful. And forever, that is a long time. That would be like saying to people, love me or I will pour gasoline on you and set you on fire, but I won't let you die, I'll just keep you on fire. Do you like that type of person?
Oh P-leeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease. Huckabee is such a wolf hiding in sheep's clothing. He's a Bigot to the capital "B" - do not be fooled. His one-liners are enough to drive any American to insanity.
Thank God he had all that plastic sheeting and duct tape left over from Homeland Security, otherwise the gay cooties could have infected him the way they did Rudy Giuliani.
The next thing you know you're baking whole grain muffins and watching endless reruns of "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy." Heavens to Betsy!
Interesting thing to point out, though I don't think there's much of a choice, unless you think Alan Keys has a chance, but I don't even know his position on that.

Perhaps you'll want to re-read the second half of Romans, chapter 1.

Secularism is a religion. too.

Get over yourself. Your sins are no more tolerable than anyone else's, no matter how you try to spin it. Sin is sin is sin.
