These artists still need the exposure that they could only get from american idol. They just need to last long enough to be remembered. Winning idol should not be the goal. Idol producers dictate the winner's style. Non-winners keep their creativity and independence.

All you freakin people are jealous that Cook is hot and can sing his ass off. And another thing is, that some of AI contestants are out there and doing great. Kelly Clarkson? Bo Bice? Clay Aiken? They all had records out and did really good especially Kelly. Cook will get a contract regardless if he wins or not. He's got talent and is nothing like Daughtry. I haven't been a Cook fan since the beginning, but I adore his last two performances.
