What I like about Watchmen as opposed to a movie like Spider-man(don't get me wrong, I love Spider-man), is that they don't save the world at the end of the day. They fail, millions die, yet for a greater good. There's also no distinct "bad guy". Could you call Ozymandias a bad guy? Like he said, he killed millions to save billions.
Watchmen goes beyond what normal comics and GN have, exploring areas most other titles ignore.
i feel sorry for those folk too young to see this film, because it really does rock...easily the best film ive seen for about a year (and i watch alot)
