thank you so much for the information on doing the Cartesian Coordinate.. I was ready to pull my hair out because we have to do this for an algebra assignment. I have been looking everywhere for this info. you mentioned that you could number it, but didn't say how...could you explain please. thank you
Thank you soo much for the time you have taken to make these videos! I am learning so much from you and hopefully it will better my chances of getting a job :O)
Well, I never described WWII... but I mentioned comparing the U.S. with Japan... and then threw in Germany to show a third circle. But it's all good. )
@freetutorials well yeah, you never thought of Russia. it wasn't on the back of your mind when you thought of WW2. that's educational propaganda factor, maybe. I don't know, maybe it's not that big of a deal though...
@freetutorials: Actually, you did mention Russia commenting: "this is things all 3 have in common" and since Russia sign pact with both sides you wasn't far away from that :D
@PaulineRobillard@freetutorials These diagrams are to illustrate an Excel plane geometry feature. This lesson's aim was not political, e.g., propaganda. Instructor did say "WW2," but the WW2 nations he chose were arbitrarily the first that arose to mind -- the USA (as instructor's homeland, quite naturally), Japan (as one of USA two main WW2 adversaries), and then Germany (as USA's next big WW2 adversary). Had he chosen to add a fourth circle, he might next have said "Italy" or US ally "Russia."
my teacher wants me to make a grid on the computer and i lied i knew how so i can get an extra day to finish my thing but i cant so i learen thanks :)>
Thanks for the tutorial mate, very good style. However, that seems like a totally bizzare way to make a Venn Diagram. Surely it must be possible to generate a Venn diagram that is actually to scale, by specifying the numbers involved (perhaps not in excel, although I haven't yet found another package that does this easily)...
Cool job! I picked up a couple of tips, including using Shift to keep Lines straight and circles circular. What you could do, instead of using fill and chosing white as a colour, in order to get rid of your gridlines. You can actually remove your grid lines. You can do this, either by going to 'Tools' - 'Options' and removing the check from the gridline box, or click the gridline Icon within your 'Forms' Toolbar.
do it for 07

This is the worst demonstration of Excel I had ever seen. Excel knows what venn diagram is, all you have to do is
1. Click Insert, then select Diagram.
2. Select "Venn Diagram" from the different options.
And you are done.

It's like he was locked in a room with only excel and had to kill time.
