Showaddywaddy were top of the tree in what they do.

    Happy days thanks lads.

  • ahh memories

  • This song is awesome! Thanks for this.

  • a little bit of

  • A very nice recording, beautiful song from 7 real great fellows, when i was counted right.

  • Most of the good popular songs and music of past and present times have mostly been covers of previous times. Unfortunately like these guys only certain artists or groups are any good. The rest are mnufactured crap!

  • Back in the 70s n 80s they were effing brilliant live....however time catches up with everyone, and it's quite sad to see them limp through standard rock n roll covers these days...hey ho such is life!!

  • Love the bit between 1.06 and 1.14.

  • Classic music from a classic band in a classic era.

    thanks for posting...

  • i know that the original of this song is by the jarmels. however, in the 70's a remake of this song made the top 40. i don't remember the band. was this the band, does anyone remember?

  • Nigel Olsson version broke the top 40 in 1979.

  • thanks! that's who i was trying to think of.

  • Sad to say like most groups they can not reproduce live what they do in a studio. but nonetheless reasonable entertainment. I was disappointed on seeing them live

  • I can see what you mean, most people's voices change as they age and if they try to sing the same songs they did when they were younger it just doesnt work. Take Debbie Harry, she sounded great in the 70s but now?... anyway, I love Showaddywaddy but agree about them not being as good live. :)

  • i agree with the comment that people's voices change as they age. this was made so clear to me when i was watching one of my faves of the 70's, david essex. i listened to a song from the 70's and then listened to him sing the same song now and it makes me want to cry. it just isn't the same and he doesn't look the same. however, paul mccartney the other night on letterman, proved the exception to the rule! but usually it's true.

  • aint they just great !!! ROCK ON WADS

  • wow wot a great tune. takes me back to my teenage years thanks for posting. hope to have it as a ringtone again thanks
