the new nissan quest is way way way better lookin and so so so airy and spacious inside. the quest has better built quality inside and out too. the toyota sienna is good but not great and the interior quality is terrible when comaparing to the previous generation. the nissan quest looks so so so different from other vans on the road and it is so so so JAPANESE in design and function. now who wouldn't want that????????
If you are planning to buy honda odyssey, then good luck to cabin vibration and horrible road noise. Do research first, go to odyclub.com and you'll find out tons of problems such as engine mounts, transmission problem etc. I had a 2006 model and believe me, this car is nothing but repair after another. Again, do a research first before you spend 35,000 that it is not worth it
@000Virtual are you kidding me? I have never even looked or wanted to buy a single van and this one actually turned my head on the road. For once, they did something new.
I have the 2011 Honda Odyssey EX and Love the refinements since my 2007 model. And set the Cruise Control at 68mph on the Highway and get 30mpg!!!
BUT, and a Really BIG, which you will all discover soon... is that Honda did NOT RESOLVE the Front Brakes Issue that has plagued this Heavy little Van!
I am on the Road all day every day, and as a result, have 34,000 miles on my 2011 that I purchased 4-1/2 months ago. Continued…
My 2011 Odyssey is going in for it's third, Front-Brake Job! .... The Front Rotors were replaced at 11,800 miles, then the new ones were turned at 23,500 miles, and now, at 34,000 miles, the Front Brake Rotors and Pads will be replaced.
And... and... the Front Struts have gone bad. I have owned a lot of new cars in my Life, continued…
but never, ever had to do any kind of brake work on any of them, before 50,000 miles... let alone THREE BRAKE JOBS in 34,000 Miles!
So, BE WARNED... if you feel any amount of "shimmy" or "vibration" out of your front-end when you brake... especially when you first start to brake at highway speeds, then immediately take it your Dealer. The warranty on Brakes is only the first 12,000 miles, but you can probably get service after this since it has now become a widely-known issue!
I had electrical problem with my 2011 brand new Odyssey EX-L, with less than 300 miles on it!
It has been in dealer's service for 4 days/3rd time now, still not fixed. Honda service rep told me some parts start deteriorating within the first 200 miles!
I filed complaint with Honda America. They don't care a bit. The rep did not return my call after 3 days. When he called, he wouldn't
even acknowledge it is Honda's fault, let alone any help at all.
@MusicforMe123 try Craiglisting your SUV and you'll get more than you would on the trade in, we Sold our 2000 Tahoe and got $1500 more than what they would offer on our trade in when we bought our 2011 Odyssey EXL.
@silum2k6 don't bother wasting $1500 to $10,000 on a Honda DVD system its not worth it because if you live in Arizona, it may get fry out, We fried out ours in our Escalade 6 years ago. Use the portable DVD Player with a 8 inch screens, you can get your portable DVD player starting at $125 to $800 and two you can take it out and pute it in your other car not just your van. and even take it on a plane when you fly someplaces.
Pffft get the ugly van off the screen, show us that old sch00l yellow civic in the background instead.

@leehanvoon In the USA blue is used. Here in Canada they use red. I'm not sure about the rest of the world.
