@Orgysauce actually the chances of their being more intelligent life is higher then there being less intelligent life because any galaxy we look at in the outer field of space is older and any civilization would be more advanced rather then less advanced, it is now agreed upon scientists that within 100,000 years octopus will start building nests on land and will evolve to land conditions and this is all within a 100,000 years, planets outside of us could be 10s or 100s of million years older.

@IIZODIIAC There is no scientific basis for what you are stating. evolution is a theory until proven otherwise (ie forever) and there is no way to tell how old something is. conditions affect how fast something "ages" and we dont know the conditions the earth have been at all times. sure we have some amber sealed air but there is no way to tell how old that is either lol. science will only bring about more questions than answers because there is so much more that we dont know vs what we do.

@KONGtuffSu Reminds me of carbon dating. They say that carbon decays at a constant rate (ie nothing can effect it) so by testing the carbon, you can see how old something is. Well, its been proven that carbon does not decay at a constant rate, therefore carbon dating is bunk. You are right, there is no way to tell. Besides, carbon dating is way too much like internet dating, unseen, inaccuarate, and you never know what you are really going to get. :)
