!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! this man is only a person against the WORD OF GOD!
The Pope jerks off to Kiddie Porn.....He's a pervted old creep covering up for his child molester associates...The Catholic Church is run by Pedophiles......Check out the Censored Documentary CONSPIRACY OF SILENCE if you search Google Videos for ---- "Conspiracy of Silence - Illuminati Pedophiles in Washington D.C. (documentary)"----You can see the documentary that was censored by the Media that talks about the Boys Town Pedophile Sex Ring that got busted.... Damning evidence...
@streetfightspdx i think it's disgusting that people allow things like that to happen on account of it being a stupid religion, this turd pope should of been arrested by now and alot of other distinguished members of the church with him.
If anyone worships the beast and his image and receives his mark on the forehead or on the hand, he, too, will drink of the wine of God's fury, which has been poured full strength into the cup of his wrath. Revelation 14:9,10
....Yet, you misunderstand the ashes.. the ashes on the head represents suffering and brings to life the reality of our own mortality and how we must turn to the living christ for redemption. I think you mean a microchip, that is the mark of the beast.
Where in the Bible does it speak of putting ashes on one's forehead in remembrance of Jesus' death? And where does it speak of Lent?
What happened to "pick up your cross DAILY" or "pray without ceasing" - not just for six weeks. Jesus told us to take COMMUNION in remembrance of His death and resurrection.
Ash Wednesday is not Biblical. And works do not save. It is by the grace of God through faith in Jesus ALONE that we are saved.
God = Holy Father....Pope calls himself....(holy father?)...hmmm.....
Pope wears a crown?...saying (look into it)...revelation says the beast will wear a crown (saying what?)...Mark of the man = 666.....take the pope, or ALL popes names...add em up....Ash Wensday you get what?...A MARK...?...HMMM...can one man, or one religion really fulfill ALL these prophecies?...or is it "BY CHANCE"...message me.
is it not true that the bible says that the antichrist will deny that Jesus is Lord. Have we ever done that... no. What you guys are doing is causing division amongst Christians. We would like to work with you on bringing Christ to all nations. Jesus Christ. He is the core of our faith. We do everyting in the name of the Father(God the Father), the Son(Jesus Christ His only Son) and the Holy Spirit. Peace be with you
Boy you atheists are conflicted. To paraphrase Dinesh D'souza: I don't belive in unicorns...but I don't go to unicorn you tube sites to profess this disbelief. What is it that you are trying to prove to yourselves?
I am not sure what is funnier; your quoting D'souza, whose nonsense is rivaled only by Benedict XVI's recent comment about condoms, or the fact that you have so little intellectual curiosity as to not even attempt to read the words of those you disagree with. Had you, you would have seen that I said clearly that I am not an Atheist, and you would have seen in my response to another sanctimonious Catholic that I did not first come on this video to insult Catholicism, but the opposite.
hmmmmm...forgetting the fact that I didn't single you out, qwertyuiop84913, I'd have to apologize for calling you an atheist...if I had it to do over again I'd just go with attention seeking, narcissistic, douschebag. My mistake!
As for you; I do appreciate your honesty in saying that you hate Atheists. Good to see Christian virtues in practice;what was it that Jesus said about hatred?
Also a bit rich listening to Christians whine about Atheists going in Christian videos (though, again, I am not an Atheist and I find it humorous that you would respond to a comment that you did not read). But if you had the intellectual courage to watch things that you disagree with, you would see plenty of Christians in Atheist videos
John 6:30 begins a colloquy that took place in the synagogue at Capernaum. The Jews asked Jesus what sign he could perform so that they might believe in him. As a challenge, they noted that "our ancestors ate manna in the desert." Could Jesus top that? He told them the real bread from heaven comes from the Father. "Give us this bread always," they said. Jesus replied, "I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me will never hunger, and whoever believes in me will never thirst."
At this point the Jews understood him to be speaking metaphorically.
Jesus first repeated what he said, then summarized: "I am the living bread which came down from heaven; if any one eats of this bread, he will live for ever; and the bread which I shall give for the life of the world is my flesh. The Jews then disputed among themselves, saying, How can this man give us his flesh to eat?" (John 6:5152).
His listeners were stupefied because now they understood Jesus literally—and correctly. He again repeated his words, but with even greater emphasis, and introduced the statement about drinking his blood: "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of man and drink his blood, you have no life in you; he who eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. For my flesh is food indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.
He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood abides in me, and I in him" (John 6:5356).
Notice that Jesus made no attempt to soften what he said, no attempt to correct "misunderstandings," for there were none. Our Lords listeners understood him perfectly well. They no longer thought he was speaking metaphorically. If they had, if they mistook what he said, why no correction?
On other occasions when there was confusion, Christ explained just what he meant (cf. Matt. 16:512).
Here, where any misunderstanding would be fatal, there was no effort by Jesus to correct. Instead, he repeated himself for greater emphasis.
In John 6:60 we read: "Many of his disciples, when they heard it, said, This is a hard saying; who can listen to it?" These were his disciples, people used to his remarkable ways. He warned them not to think carnally, but spiritually: "It is the Spirit that gives life, the flesh is of no avail;
the words that I have spoken to you are spirit and life" (John 6:63; cf. 1 Cor. 2:1214).
But he knew some did not believe. (It is here, in the rejection of the Eucharist, that Judas fell away; look at John 6:64.) "After this, many of his disciples drew back and no longer went about with him" (John 6:66).
This is the only record we have of any of Christs followers forsaking him for purely doctrinal reasons. If it had all been a misunderstanding,
if they erred in taking a metaphor in a literal sense, why didnt he call them back and straighten things out? Both the Jews, who were suspicious of him, and his disciples, who had accepted everything up to this point, would have remained with him had he said he was speaking only symbolically.
But he did not correct these protesters. Twelve times he said he was the bread that came down from heaven;
four times he said they would have "to eat my flesh and drink my blood." John 6 was an extended promise of what would be instituted at the Last Supper—and it was a promise that could not be more explicit.
You realy are catholic! U and your kind understand things in flesh, not spiritualy, so when one out of love warns you, you understand it not. But as it is said "For wherever the carcass is, there will the eagles be gathered together" And you are of those that think Christ is in the house or secret chambers, so you heared or believed not the Lord to obey and understand, but worst you teach doctrine of demons to all openly, mixing truth with vanity and lies, giving the wine of fornication U drink!
"but worst you teach doctrine of demons to all openly, mixing truth with vanity and lies, giving the wine of fornication U drink! " -espiritodaverdade8
The catholic church is the true church. No one wants to hear the garbage your cult spits out. What I wrote is what the Lord Jesus said and commanded. Funny how you can't refute what I wrote. You can only take other scriptures and give them out of context. That is the mark of the "doctrine of demons".
@ricklonghi909 I have no cult, sorry :( but if I had, it wouldn't be a band of pedophiles, seducing and kissing little boys with the same mouth they (think to) praise the Lord... That is the result of being an Isis cult, virginity and celebacy like in roman times to the virgin isis, worshipped by Egypt and Babylon, 2 nations brought down by the right Hand of GOD! Just as yours soon will. Solomon the wise King teaches; There is nothing new under the Sun, what has been, will be again! Just wait :)
Eucharist? Oh vain men, cant U understand that if U are Christ's wife and keep a virgin to Him U are to be one flesh with Him? Dont U know that Christ is the new Adam & we come from His rib, so we are to be in the BODY OF CHRIST? Dont U know His flesh is the Word of God? Dont U know that by the Law, the blood of the Lamb is the life thereof? Eat the real Manna & live His Life as He teached! But U and billions are maried to the Pope & he to the church and the church to Idols! But not for long...
" Dont U know His flesh is the Word of God? Dont U know that by the Law, the blood of the Lamb is the life thereof? Eat the real Manna & live His Life as He teached! " -espiritudaverdade8
That is not what Jesus taught. all the "dont you know" statements mean nothing and you take scriptures out of context. Reread my posting, it says it all, and if you dont accept it, then you are like the 70 disciples, and Judas Iscariot who turned away from Jesus because of this teaching.
rick, I am not picking on only you or catholics .. you need to know how the roman Catholics started these lies and will have to pay for the lies they gave others. I challenge you research how the protestant, baptist, methodist, pentecostal, 7th day adventist, and most other religions started.. that's why John saw "THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH". The mother church instructs the others and they obey through works.
rick, our salvation should be the most important thing to us. We know Jesus is coming back and we have to be aware of this before he returns(Revelation 22:12-13)I pray you see some truth and seek and pray for all wisdom. Ask you preacher what Matthew 24:15 means and remember Matthew 24:4-5. We are judged by our works we do now. Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: FEAR GOD, and KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS: for this [is] the whole [duty] of man. Ecclesiastes 12:13
"For the Roman Pontiff, by reason of his office as Vicar of Christ, and as pastor of the entire Church has full, supreme, and universal power over the whole Church, a power which he can always exercise unhindered." Pg. 234, #882 If Vicar means replacement then you mean to tell me this man will replace or be in place of Jesus Christ?
"And here [is] the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth. (Mother Church) Revelation 17:9 "Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshiped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God." 2 Thess. 2:4 Read the Bible and Research.
Can anyone find in the Bible where Jesus marked apostles or disciples on "Ash Wednesday"?
"Can anyone find in the Bible where Jesus marked apostles or disciples on "Ash Wednesday"? " -zion3631
Can you find anywhere in the bible where it says that the bible is the only authority? Sola Scriptura is itself false as the bible itself doesn't even make that claim. It only says it is "profitable for reproof"
You Rock, ricklonghi!! Good for you defending the faith! qwert looks like a fake channel and he stalks Catholics. I like to tell people that we did not invent The RCC. God established His Church on Earth thru His Son, Christ and man should want to follow Christ thru His Church. We can prove with history and The Bible and with truth and logic what we believe. Can they? Also, RCC still uses the Latin Vulgate from 380 A.D. What Bible are they using? A translation from a translation missing 7 books?
Can anyone find in the Bible where Jesus marked apostles or disciples on "Ash Wednesday"? -zion
"Do not harm the earth or the sea or the trees till we have sealed the servants of our God upon their foreheads" (Rev.7:3).
Or again, "Then I looked, and, lo, on Mount Zion stood the Lamb and with him a hundred and forty-four thousand who had his name and his Father's name written on their foreheads" (Rev. 14:1).
"Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ". Colossians 2:8.."And they shall turn away [their] ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables." II Tim 4:4.. you ask how has the catholic (Mother Church)given us fables well, Sunday the 1st day of week not 7th, Count 3 days and 3 nights from good Friday to SUNday, 25th day of December? did Rome have anything to do with this?
rick, believers know and understand that Jesus is the truth and the life. Let's get back to the conversation on how the Catholics (Mother Church) gave the world its religious drunkenness. "Stay yourselves, and wonder; cry ye out, and cry: they are drunken, but not with wine; they stagger, but not with strong drink."Read Ish 29:9..
"rick, believers know and understand that Jesus is the truth and the life. Let's get back to the conversation on how the Catholics (Mother Church) gave the world its religious drunkenness." -zion3631
Again you are out of context. That is the problem with belonging to a "bible-believing group" There is no authority to correctly interpret the bible. You can and do twist it's interpretation to your own destruction.
Read and Research the BIBLE and History they don't lie. Jesus, Daniel, Ezekiel, John, Jeremiah, Isaiah, and even Paul prophesied to us about the future for what we should look for. Romans 1:20-32 "And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet...
Wait, cause there is more.. I am not a protestant as you assumed I was before. I am a Bible Christian not a Christian that follow man's laws, but the TRUE and living Law of JESUS. "Forbidding to marry, [and commanding] to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth." I Timothy 4:1-7 between these two scriptures does anything sound familiar? Sounds like Nuns and Monks even by catholic papa to me. Oh, but I'm so not done.
rick, Jesus warned us not to go in the way of the heathen Jeremiah 10:1-6 For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe. Now, you as a Christian must know this and I pray you don't have a Christmas tree in your house or celebrate the pagan idolatry winter solstice. Deut. 4:27,II Sam. 22:44, II King 17:15, Psalms 135:5 "The idols of the heathen [are] silver and gold, the work of men's hands."
"I am not a protestant as you assumed I was before. I am a Bible Christian not a Christian that follow man's laws, but the TRUE and living Law of JESUS" -zion3631
You have NO authority to correctly interpret the bible.
1 tim 4 1-7 The letter warns against a false asceticism that prohibits marriage and regards certain foods as forbidden, though they are part of God's good creation (1 Tim 4:3). It does not pertain to priests, monks, or nuns. You are again out of context
"Read and Research the BIBLE and History they don't lie" -zion3631
You are the one that needs to read the bible a little more and do some research. Romans 1 has nothing to do with what we are talking about-, nor does Isaiah 29:9.
The loosed on Earth quote would be a very good quote to inform others who object to the RCC, because people do not understand that the Bible allows the few changes the RCC makes.
Our Lord defends his disciples when the Jews attacked them for not observing the Sabbath, ending his comments by saying: "For the Son of Man is lord of the Sabbath" (Mt. 12:18). Or again, "The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath" (Mk. 2:27). The fact that Jesus rebukes too severe an interpretation of Sabbath law (Lk. 13:1016, 14:15; Jn. 5:918, 7:22) suggests that the he was not pleased with the way that the Sabbath was being observed.
Well, I apologize to you for everything that I said about the Sabbath. It seems you're right.
I was always taught about the original Sabbath laws and that, basically, "nothing was ever said to change them". But you've provided more than enough examples to show the Sunday Sabbath is valid.
It is not surprising then to find several New Testament comments addressing this matter. Let us begin with Colossians 2:1719: "Therefore let no one pass judgment on you in regard to food or drink or in respect to a festival or a new moon or a Sabbath day—things which are a mere shadow of what is to come, but the substance belongs to Christ."
REMEMBER THE SABBATH DAY, to KEEP IT HOLY. For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested THE SEVENTH DAY: wherefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day, and hallowed it.
Though the Gospels report that Jesus observed the Sabbath, there are several incidents where he is accused of violating Sabbath law (Jn. 9:16, Jn 7:23, Mk. 3:4). It is interesting that in various passages the Lord restates all of the decalogue except for one commandment. "And Jesus replied, You shall not kill, you shall not commit adultery, you shall not steal, you shall not bear false witness, honor your father and mother, and you shall love your neighbor as yourself" Mt. 19:1819
"It is written: The Lord your God shall you worship, and him alone shall you serve" (Mt. 4:10). Finally, "But I say to you, do not swear at all; not by heaven, for it is Gods throne" (Mt. 5:34). The commandment Jesus didnt restate? To keep holy the Sabbath.
James Warren "Jim" Jones (May 13, 1931 November 18, 1978) was the founder of the Peoples Temple, which is best known for the November 18, 1978 death of over 900 Temple members in Jonestown, Guyana along with the deaths of nine other people at a nearby airstrip and in Georgetown.
Jones was born in Indiana and started the Temple in that state in the 1950s. Jones and the Temple later moved to California, and both gained notoriety with the move of the Temple's headquarters
To the extent the actions in Jonestown were viewed as a mass suicide, it is one of the largest such mass suicides in history, and the greatest single loss of American civilian life in a non-natural disaster until the incidents of September 11, 2001
What you have done isn't quite the same. I took the word of God, saying the head of a church had the number "666".
Then I took every title and nickname of that man, added up the numbers in their original alphabets (no tricks), and every number is "six hundred, three score, and six". Not 18, not anything else, but 666.
This debate is about the word of God, not our opinions. If I am wrong, please correct me somehow, and I will understand, apologize, and stop saying what I do.
I think this is truly awesome how non Catholics hate our Church. The evil ones have always hated the truth and they will keep on hating our Church because it comes directly from God. This is a testament to the Catholic Church. No matter who the haters are and what they do, the Catholic Church will keep on existing until the Second coming of Jesus. It's the Holy Spirit that guides our Church and not Jimmy Jones, Joseph Smith, Preacher Johnny or any fool with a Catholic bible in his hand.
****Your loyalty should be with God, and not the church.***
The ash comes from burned crosses from palm sunday.
the bible says the beast wears crimson and red, is 666 ("vicarivs filii dei" is the pope's title), reigns 1260 years and comes back (like the catholic church did), sits on 7 hills (like the vatican does), comes from 10 nations and defeats 3 (like the vatican did), changes god's laws (the vatican moved the sabbath to sunday), etc, etc, etc
The Forces of Satan are working to bring about Global Initiation (666).Verichip RFID
One of their tools is the Vatican and its Holy Day of Ash Wednesday. Catholics are indoctrinated to believe taking a physical "mark" upon their foreheads is good and holy. This is in Preparation for the Day when the Vatican is converted to The Church of Satan. This is foretold in The Book of Revelation as Rome, ?The City Upon Seven Hills." (Rev:17:9).
Pray and watch this beast when the temple is built in Jerusalem for 3 1/2 years of tribulation. Rev. 13:14 "And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast;saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.
In the Bible, a mark on the forehead is a symbol of ownership. By having his forehead marked with the sign of a cross, a person symbolizes that he belongs to Jesus Christ, who died on a cross. This is in imitation of the spiritual mark or seal that is put on a Christian in baptism, when he is delivered from slavery to sin and the devil and made a slave of righteousness and Christ
It is also imitates the way the righteous are described in the book of Revelation: "Do not harm the earth or the sea or the trees till we have sealed the servants of our God upon their foreheads" (Rev.7:3).
Or again, "Then I looked, and, lo, on Mount Zion stood the Lamb and with him a hundred and forty-four thousand who had his name and his Father's name written on their foreheads" (Rev. 14:1).
This is in contrast to the followers of the beast, who have the number 666 on their foreheads or hands. This reference to the sealing of the servants of God for their protection has a parallel passage in Ezekiel: "And the Lord said to him [one of the four cherubim], 'Go through the city, through Jerusalem, and put a mark [literally, a tav] upon the foreheads of the men who sigh and groan over all the abominations that are committed in it.'
And to the others he said in my hearing, 'Pass through the city after him, and smite; your eye shall not spare, and you shall show no pity; slay old men outright, young men and maidens, little children and women, but touch no one upon whom is the mark'" (Ezek. 9:4-6).
The ash comes from burned crosses from palm sunday. "The Beast": wears purple and scarlet "The Mark": on the forehead The ash: from burned crosses Ash Wednesday is the Mark of the Beast VICARIVS FILII DEI = 666 "Vicar of the Son of God"??? "In Place" of Jesus? "antiChrist" = "in place of Christ" ***IT'S ENGRAVED INTO THE POPE'S MITRE, WITH DIAMONDS AND GEMS*** remember, the antiChrist is supposed to fool the entire world
"the antiChrist is supposed to fool the entire world " jimjones2020
JimJones, you are the one that has been fooled. The catholic church is the one true church, and not even the gates of hell will prevail against it. Go educate yourself on the truth.
The ash Wednesday mark is the mark of the beast. This is the only mark received in the synagogue of Satin. Rome is the last and fourth beast in the book of Daniel, there is no fifth. The first sign of a cult is a leader proclaiming to be God. Vicar of Christ means in place of Christ or anti-Christ. The pope and all popes proclaim to be God and their crown says vicar of Christ as proof. Catholics are brain washed into thinking the pope is without sin. Wake up, Satin is laughing at you
The Bible does reply to the pope he is the only one that lives on 7 hills (7 mountains)donn't be ignore just read your history the protestants are a small religion branch off of Roman Cathoic faith. He gave you all the lies and changed laws and times.
You would have us believe that the "seven hills" refer to the seven hills on which the ancient city of Rome was built, but if the passage states that the whore sits on "seven mountains," the reference could be to anything. The mountains do not even need to be literal, since mountains are common symbols in the Bible. A mountain may symbolize a kingdom. In Daniel 2:35 Christ's kingdom is seen as a mountain, as well as elsewhere in the bible
Matthew 24:4 " And Jesus answered and said unto them , Take hed that no man deceive you. 5 For many shall come in my name, saying I am the Christ; and shall DECEIVE MANY." question is the people that believe the lies few or many? answer MANY. Pray, read, and ask Jesus for understanding. He opened my eyes out of this falsehood and lies about the tru Jesus of the Bible and Jesus is a jealous God so be very careful who you worship.
That verse also applies to the rich Protestants in our midsts. As the Vicar of Christ the Catholic community bestows gifts on its pope, but while he may have fanciful robes, his devotion to Christ and his humility are for the Lord to judge, not for Protestant demagogues.
"Gentlemen, you will permit me to put on my spectacles, for I have not only grown gray but almost blind in the service of my country." - Washington
I would give my eyes for my country, but I would give my life for the Church.
JimJones: You responded to some insane comment that I wrote almost a year ago. I am no longer a Catholic (I heartily appreciate all of the thumbs down which I will receive as a result of this statement).
That said, is Jim Jones supposed to be a reference to the cult leader? I know Jones did not cause as much death as the popes have, but he is not exactly someone to admire, is he? Or does the name have another meaning? Or is Jim Jones perhaps your name?
I am quite sure that the blind would appreciate your religion's use of them as some sort of negative symbol.
As for me, it is none of your concern. That being said, the notion that you would categorize acknowledgement of genocidal behavior in Catholic history as "excuses" shows that your moral compass has not been well-formulated under the auspices of your belief system. I suppose J.J. was a moral authority after all, from your perspective. He *said* he was, which is apparently all that matters
"I am quite sure that the blind would appreciate your religion's use of them as some sort of negative symbol." qwerty
I am not speaking of physical blindness I am speaking of spiritual blindness.
"the notion that you would categorize acknowledgement of genocidal behavior in Catholic history as "excuses".. -qwerty
My point isn't whether it occurred or not,but simply that you would claim that as a reason to leave the church. Would you leave the church because of Judas Iscariot?
I understand it's meaning. You kindly try to insult me by comparing me to the blind. This is both a debasement of myself and of those who are with visual impairment.
Not that it is any of your business, but I did not say that I left Catholicism because of its genocidal history, at least not solely for that reason.
That said, you write on about what a bad guy J. Jones was, which he surely was, yet you minimize the evils of papal history. People with stained glass houses should not throw stones.
I have better things to do than sit through the sophistry of your apologetics. There is a saying "Arguing on the internet is like running in the Special Olympics; if you win you're still retarded." I myself find this saying offensive, but you are apparently comfortable with vulgar insults to the handicapped (as was Jesus) and so you will appreciate it.
"Let the dead bury the dead." I will leave you two to wallow in the intellectual graveyard of religion & will move on to more worthy endeavors.
"I myself find this saying offensive, but you are apparently comfortable with vulgar insults to the handicapped (as was Jesus) and so you will appreciate it. " -qwerty
How dare you criticise Jesus? Also, I was correct in criticising the mere excuse you made for leaving the church. You atre a hypocrite because you criticize my bblindness statement and then you talk about retardation.
You do not know how to read, do you? I explain in that very quote what I meant. I was exposing the vulgarity of your quote with another quote, and at the same time telling you that I have no interest in debating anything with you. And I also stated, earlier, with plain language, that I did not leave the Catholic Church because of its history of genocide, and I also said repeatedly that my reasons are none of your business in the first place.
Let's see who it is who can not read. below is your actual quote
"Not that it is any of your business, but I did not say that I left Catholicism because of its genocidal history, at least not solely for that reason. "
1st - by entering into conversation, you have allowed discussion on your business.
2nd - by stating that it was nto the 'SOLE' reason' you are admitting that it was 'A 'reason.
I haven't entered into a conversation, I've been responding to an idiot who thinks its his business to ask people personal questions and then insult them for making personal decisions. Was it my sole, primary reason? No, it was not. Did it effect my sentimentalist view of Catholicism? Sure.
As for your third, unlettered point, when I need to take advice from you on what I ought be doing or not be doing, I'll let you know.
"And if you want people with an uncritical view of Jesus or Christianity" -qwerty
you wrote the following and try to pass yourself off as someone with an uncritical view of Jesus? "but you are apparently comfortable with vulgar insults to the handicapped '(as was Jesus)' -written by qwerty
yea whatever. I'll pray that you will return from your apostasy.
"And if you want people with an uncritical view of Jesus or Christianity, you my friend better be the one to stay off the internet." I think it is pretty clear what I am saying here for those of you with a 3rd or 4th grade reading level, which Rick has apparently not yet reached; I am rather plainly saying that one should *not* go on the internet if they are seeking an uncritical view of Jesus/Christianity. I for one never claimed to have an uncritical view of them; mine is quite critical.
And how charming; another attempt atinsult. Those who use words like "apostacy" are intellectually and morally bankrupt. Considering all those in our own day in Islamic countries, for instance, being killed for the "crime" of changing their minds about a religion that was forced on them at infancy, and considering that as a missionary religion there would be no Christianity without conversion- which requires "apostacy" from one faith- one has to be quite a half-wit to use the term in that way.
4 For it is impossible in the case of those who have once been enlightened and tasted the heavenly gift and shared in the holy Spirit
5 and tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come,
6 and then have fallen away, to bring them to repentance again, since they are recrucifying the Son of God for themselves and holding him up to contempt.
7 Ground that has absorbed the rain falling upon it repeatedly and brings forth crops useful to those for whom it is cultivated receives a blessing from God.
8 But if it produces thorns and thistles, it is rejected; it will soon be cursed and finally burned.
"Those who use words like "apostacy" are intellectually and morally bankrupt." AND
"quite a half-wit " And " 3rd or 4th grade reading level, which Rick has apparently not yet reached" -qwertyuiop
This 3rd grader would like to point out to you that it is spelled "apostasy", and that it means a total desertion of or departure from one's religion, principles, party, cause, etc, so I used it correctly.
It is not uncommon for people who have no argument to resort to insults.
"It is not uncommon for people who have no argument to resort to insults." Which is precisely what you have been doing, which is precisely what I have been responding to. Thank you for answering your own question.
You used the term correctly, and I am pointing out that it is a term that only the intellectually and morally bankrupt are concerned with. You seem to qualify.
Paul had to leave on religion to join the other. He was an "apostate" then, as well. Did that make him a bad/foolish person?
"to resort to insults." Which is precisely what you have been doing," -qwerty
That is not what i've been doing. I pointed out the fact that you are blind in spiritual matters and that you flip-flop. Those are observations. However, you are the one criticising my reading ability, while misspelling your words, and pretending to be intellectually superior. Look - I can admit that it was designed to rub you the wrong way in order to get a rise out of you.
to resort to insults." Which is precisely what you have been doing," -qwerty Part 2
Paul worshiped God in the old covenant, and when he encountered God in the new one, he embraced Christianity. That is not foolish. But you are moving in the wrong direction, and that is not a good thing.
And yes, you made the fantastic discovery of a spelling error. I am confident enough in my spelling that I do not generally feel the need to spell check, and if I missed one then so be it. I apologize that I am not petty enough to mine your comments for spelling errors.
You put it in quite dramatic terms, but cutting away all the triteness of your statement, all that need be said is that he changed his mind. Did this say anything about his character? No, from your perspective he did right.
And you were petty enough to attack my spirituality. We can do this all day.
No, you missed the point. Paul changed his mind. All converts to any religion or lack thereof, including Christianity, change their mind. Without this the Christian religion would not exist. And I have not moved away from God, I still believe in God. And as for your petty comments about my "moving in the wrong direction" I could say the same of you, but I will not, because I am not a demagogic and sanctimonious snob.
"And I have not moved away from God, I still believe in God" -qwertyuiop
Which god would that be? It's no big achievement on your part to believe he exists. Even the demons believe in God.
Based on your earlier comment concerning Jesus, I do not believe you accept Jesus as your God and Savior. And if you do not have the Son, then you do not have the Father.
John 14
6 "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
No novelty or achievement was claimed. I stated that I believe in God and have not abandoned this belief, and it is not for your ilk to decide the "direction" I need take. I do not seek your counsel, much less cynical attempts at dictation; my belief is not hampered but uplifted by my renunciation of the idolatrous worship of a false prophet. The devil can quote scripture, they say, and it is your privilege to do so. Demons believe, you say, and this is evident in the annals of Church history.
"That is not what i've been doing. I pointed out the fact that you are blind in spiritual matters" I find it additionally insulting that you would imply that this is not an insult.
As for your effort to re-live the '04 election; yes, I did "flip-flop," if you say so. I did not do this for personal gain, however, I did so because I was following my conscience; so what are you trying to get at by calling me this? As said, Christianity would not exist without "flip-flopping." It needed converts.
My channel looks fake? How should it look?I'm sorry for not being as ostentatious as you. I'm stalking Catholics? Really? Not vice versa? Not that I need to explain myself, but the first time I came here was as a Catholic where I posted one pro-Catholic comment. Months later, someone responds, so I return to explain that I am no longer Catholic. Once I did so I received dozens of self-righteous e-mails, like your own, and again had to return to defend myself. So who is stalking who?
Thanks for your Catholic talking points, I have no interest in them & find them unimpressive & fraudulent. I am not part of any Christian denomination, much less a Christian cult, & I have no religious affiliation whatsoever. I am finished with anthropomorphic religion & I do not care if you find me ignorant or not. The feeling is mutual. Jesus was a false prophet, in the mold of the many messiah's of his day, & the Catholic Church is a fraud within a fraud with its many, many weasel doctrines
Why do you even look at videos like this if we upset and disgust you so much? All I see when I watch this is the beauty and richness of Tradition (tradition with a capital T) and history and Bible that can only be found within The Roman Catholic Church. I am your polar opposite. I came into the Catholic Church 25 yrs ago after over a year of careful study and classes. The more I look the more I know I made the right choice. I pray you are as happy and content in your choice.
I am quite sure that I am just as impressed by Islamic & Hindu & Zoroastrian culture as I am by Catholic culture, and I am quite sure that I would never convert to any of these religions for such shallow reasons.
The Bible? Yes. Perhaps more Catholics should read it.
LOL! I love it that you think my channel looks ostentatious. Thank you. I am stalking you? Ha you should be so lucky.. Peace to you and nice to see you still have a sense of humor.
I am not conversing with you, I am telling you to mind your own business. There is a difference between conversing and telling.
Calling someone a "blind" and a "flip flop" is not insults? Well, I do not think that I need to look in a dictionary to explain where you went wrong there. As for your comment about my having "doubts", I never said anything about doubt. I can state rather factually that Christianity in general and Catholicism in particular are fraud.
qwertyuiop84913, your channel looks fake, like one of those SDAs or JW that likes to stalk Catholics and spout Biblical scripture to somehow disprove the RCC. Prove your church with The Bible, history, truth and logic and then we will talk. Catholics did not invent the Catholic church!! We do not have to find scripture to "prove" our Church. Christ is God and He came to Earth to establish His church, The Catholic Church. 2000 yrs of history and plenty of Scripture to back it up.
Sorry you left the Catholic Church. What a shame. You must not have really understood what you were leaving or you never would have done it. Don't engage Catholics in conversation if you can't stand the fallout. I for one am sick at the smears and slander and hate from certain groups of people on YouTube about my church. Go engage people from your own sect if you want to debate a certain way and stay off Catholic channels. It is a sin to spread falsehoods against your neighbor and unChristlike.
And the Bible's description of the church and its leader *only* fits the Papacy, often many, many times, incl: - the 1260 year reign (mentioned 4 times I think) - coming from 10 nations - making a new nation - conquering 3 - purple & scarlet robes - the chalice - saying the leader is Christ on Earth (Popes have made this public record countless times, and it says so on their mitre) - "Christian" church - makes war on saints (Vatican did for 1,000 yrs) - kills many of them (countless millions)
- changes the commandments (RCC moved the sabbath from saturday to Sun day, did something else i cant remember)
- Pagan rituals (the pope's throne has a zodiac right on it, mitre is a babylonian fish god, eucharist taken from babylon, EATING AND DRINKING GOD'S FLESH?, all seeing eye of Osiris/Lucifer all over RCC art, Upside-down cross on Pope's throne, giant zodiac sun dial in vatican square, pope requires you to bow to him and kiss his hand like a god, RCC worships statues and dead bones, etc.
Now if the Bible makes ENDLESS descriptions of the Beast, and almost ALL of them only match ONE person or church... and if the number is 666 and at least a DOZEN names for that person = 666... you're looking at hundreds of dead-on coincidences here.
Anybody who doesn't believe me - look it up yourself! It's ALL OVER the Bible The Papal names are in history textbooks. It's all there.
If you want to doubt it, is it because you're offended personally? Or the hundred Biblical clues are wrong?
Why not explain how the 12 names I provided were an error? Or how the Sabbath really is Sunday? Or why the Mitre and Dagon are identical?
You will never disprove people by just saying they're full of it. Shoot them down and educate them. When it comes to faith, you would be saving lives.
It is starting all ready. You are making this pope man your God. He is not a God he is the antichrist. Read Daniel 7:25 "and think to change times and laws; and they shall be given into his hand a time and times and diving of time." 3 1/2 years. Jesus warned us about this man.
"You are making this pope man your God. " -zion3631
Jesus made Peter the rock that christianity would be built on and the pope os the successor. However, You have made Martin Luther YOUR god. That Schism has made a split in the one true church. Now there are 30,000 denominations of protestants, but only one roman catholic church.
The reference is to the persecutions of Antiochus IV and his attempt to force the Jews to give up their customs and to adopt Hellenistic ways (1 Macc 1:33-34). A year, two years, and a half-year: an indefinite, evil period of time. As seven is the Jewish "perfect" number, half of it signifies great imperfection. Actually, this corresponds fairly accurately to the duration of Antiochus' persecution.
Nobody carried Luther on a throne, kissed his feet, or called him "God on Earth".
The Protestant movement was a "protest". The RCC requires you worship the Pope, idols, dead saints- COMMAND GOD to turn into a cracker and EAT Him, ignore God's commandments, move the Sabbath to SUNday... The RCC banned the Bible for 100s of yrs and mutilated millions of people and set them on fire for reading it.
The "Protestant" movement was a "Protest", but it's also lost its way. dont trust man trust God
"The RCC requires you worship the Pope, idols, dead saints-" -jimjones
That is a lie. Stop bearing false witness, jim
"COMMAND GOD to turn into a cracker and EAT Him" -jimjones
Also taken out of context. Jesus commanded us to eat the bread, and drink the wine for it is true food indeed, and it is his blood. Many of Jesus' disciples left Jesus and no longer followed him because of this teaching. This is also where Judas fell away.
Perhaps I was too harsh. The problem is that people often stray - when you put up statues of ordinary people (Saints), some people pray in error. You can check it out on Google and you'll see loads of people kneeling before statues. They're not supposed to do that.
JimJones, the name suits you right. All that you're talking about in regards to the Catholic Church are false accusations that have been spread by anti-catholics. You are full of hatred and you don't know what you are talking about, you only repeat lies that have been spread since the reformation. But, like I said before, the Catholic Church will last forever because it is guided by the Holy Spirit and not guided by a protestant's interpretation of a few bible verses taken out of context.
I came on here, because in my mind, people were erring in the face of God, and I wanted to help them.
E.g. the Sabbath is the last day of the week, and most Christians now worship on the first day. I read of the hills and 666, and came to an honest conclusion with no "jazz" or interpretation.
If the reality is that people like me are wrong, you can settle this matter with plain language... and help save people.
Also you have to remember that the Catholic Church which Jesus established, has the power/authority given by Jesus to bind and unbind, retain or loose and whatever the Catholic Church in accordance with the Pope and Bishops decide to remove or add in terms of Christian matters, will be acknowledged by Christ in Heaven. Hence the term, "what ever you loose on earth will be loosed in Heaven."
"If the reality is that people like me are wrong, you can settle this matter with plain language... and help save people. " jimjones2020
Jimjones, I think I misjudged you. Most people who quote the things you quoted are not interested in facts, they are only interested in slandering catholicism.
"Jesus made Peter the rock that christianity would be built on and the pope os the successor,,,"
Oh yes? So tell me why Messiah has 7 churches in Revelations? And tell me why Messiah says He has the keys of David & what He opens no Man shuts, & what he shuts no man opens, again in Rev.? Peter? U really are Laodicea & should wash your eyes & get garments! Dont U know Jesus tells John to follow Him & warns Peter about who would take Him to his death, Ignatius of Antioch the father of lies? Seek
So I will ask you & all catholics a question to see if you can answer this I ask of you & your (pedophile) church that teaches & believes from ancient times:
How can a man concieved by the Holy Ghost in a womb of a virgin, (you all love), & be baptized at the age of 30 years old? Has the same Holy Ghost come down upon itslef? Twice?
ignatius of antioch disciple of John the Apostle? Thats why John wrote 2 John 1:7! Go read! Do you think Christ came from a virgin not of flesh but of spirit?
"How can a man concieved by the Holy Ghost in a womb of a virgin, (you all love), & be baptized at the age of 30 years old? Has the same Holy Ghost come down upon itslef? Twice? "-espiritodaverdade8
ALL christians believe Jesus was born of a virgin, and that he is fully man and fully God. so if you don't you are either a heretic, a satanist, a cultist, or an atheist. If you claim to be christian, what is your denomination, pagan?
Ahahahah! You are funny... Oh look at him all puffed up by the daughter of chaldean and it's vanity, you are realy drunken of strong drink adversary! Your prophets of Baal can't decieve the world much longer! Read Isaiah 47 to yourself & out loud to your church!
You are so blind you cant see that Revelations was written after Peter was dead, it came out 40 years after ignatius of antioch altered the gospel of Mathew to speak of the virgin and say Peter was the "corner stone" none else say that
31 And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS.
34 Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man?
35 And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.
God Bless the Pope, Our Holy Father.

Boy you atheists are conflicted. To paraphrase Dinesh D'souza: I don't belive in unicorns...but I don't go to unicorn you tube sites to profess this disbelief. What is it that you are trying to prove to yourselves?
wjb67 2 years ago

My mistake!

Sure, sure. I am an attention seeker, yet Christians are the ones seeking me out to insult me with their ad hominem's. Odd.
But I do love the open displays of contempt from Christians. A true religion of hatred, masquerading as a religion of peace.

Eucharist Part 1
John 6:30 begins a colloquy that took place in the synagogue at Capernaum. The Jews asked Jesus what sign he could perform so that they might believe in him. As a challenge, they noted that "our ancestors ate manna in the desert." Could Jesus top that? He told them the real bread from heaven comes from the Father. "Give us this bread always," they said. Jesus replied, "I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me will never hunger, and whoever believes in me will never thirst."
ricklonghi909 3 years ago
Eucharist Part 2
At this point the Jews understood him to be speaking metaphorically.
Jesus first repeated what he said, then summarized: "I am the living bread which came down from heaven; if any one eats of this bread, he will live for ever; and the bread which I shall give for the life of the world is my flesh. The Jews then disputed among themselves, saying, How can this man give us his flesh to eat?" (John 6:5152).
ricklonghi909 3 years ago
Eucharist Part 3
His listeners were stupefied because now they understood Jesus literally—and correctly. He again repeated his words, but with even greater emphasis, and introduced the statement about drinking his blood: "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of man and drink his blood, you have no life in you; he who eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. For my flesh is food indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.
ricklonghi909 3 years ago
Eucharist Part 4
He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood abides in me, and I in him" (John 6:5356).
Notice that Jesus made no attempt to soften what he said, no attempt to correct "misunderstandings," for there were none. Our Lords listeners understood him perfectly well. They no longer thought he was speaking metaphorically. If they had, if they mistook what he said, why no correction?
On other occasions when there was confusion, Christ explained just what he meant (cf. Matt. 16:512).
ricklonghi909 3 years ago
Eucharist Part 5
Here, where any misunderstanding would be fatal, there was no effort by Jesus to correct. Instead, he repeated himself for greater emphasis.
In John 6:60 we read: "Many of his disciples, when they heard it, said, This is a hard saying; who can listen to it?" These were his disciples, people used to his remarkable ways. He warned them not to think carnally, but spiritually: "It is the Spirit that gives life, the flesh is of no avail;
ricklonghi909 3 years ago
Eucharist Part 6
the words that I have spoken to you are spirit and life" (John 6:63; cf. 1 Cor.
If it had all been a misunderstanding,
ricklonghi909 3 years ago
Eucharist Part 7
if they erred in taking a metaphor in a literal sense, why didnt he call them back and straighten things out? Both the Jews, who were suspicious of him, and his disciples, who had accepted everything up to this point, would have remained with him had he said he was speaking only symbolically.
But he did not correct these protesters. Twelve times he said he was the bread that came down from heaven;
ricklonghi909 3 years ago
Eucharist Part 8
four times he said they would have "to eat my flesh and drink my blood." John 6 was an extended promise of what would be instituted at the Last Supper—and it was a promise that could not be more explicit.

A translation from a translation missing 7 books?

rick, believers know and understand that Jesus is the truth and the life. Let's get back to the conversation on how the Catholics (Mother Church) gave the world its religious drunkenness. rick, Jesus warned us not to go in the way of the heathen Jeremiah 10:1-6 For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe.

Saturday Pt3
Our Lord defends his disciples when the Jews attacked them for not observing the Sabbath, ending his comments by saying: "For the Son of Man is lord of the Sabbath" (Mt. 12:18). Or again, "The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath" (Mk. 2:27). The fact that Jesus rebukes too severe an interpretation of Sabbath law (Lk. 13:1016, 14:15; Jn. 5:918, 7:22) suggests that the he was not pleased with the way that the Sabbath was being observed.
ricklonghi909 3 years ago
Well, I apologize to you for everything that I said about the Sabbath. It seems you're right.
I was always taught about the original Sabbath laws and that, basically, "nothing was ever said to change them". But you've provided more than enough examples to show the Sunday Sabbath is valid.
Thanks for the info!

Saturday Pt4

Saturday Pt1

Jim Jones part 1
James Warren "Jim" Jones (May 13, 1931 November 18, 1978) was the founder of the Peoples Temple, which is best known for the November 18, 1978 death of over 900 Temple members in Jonestown, Guyana along with the deaths of nine other people at a nearby airstrip and in Georgetown.
Jones was born in Indiana and started the Temple in that state in the 1950s. Jones and the Temple later moved to California, and both gained notoriety with the move of the Temple's headquarters

ricklonghi909 3 years ago
ricklonghi909,
What you have done isn't quite the same.
If I am wrong, please correct me somehow, and I will understand, apologize, and stop saying what I do.
jimjones2020 3 years ago
I think this is truly awesome how non Catholics hate our Church. The evil ones have always hated the truth and they will keep on hating our Church because it comes directly from God. This is a testament to the Catholic Church. No matter who the haters are and what they do, the Catholic Church will keep on existing until the Second coming of Jesus. It's the Holy Spirit that guides our Church and not Jimmy Jones, Joseph Smith, Preacher Johnny or any fool with a Catholic bible in his hand.
Amen!

It's all in the bible! avoid the mark

StatueSmasher 3 years ago
Pray and watch this beast when the temple is built in Jerusalem for 3 1/2 years of tribulation. Rev. 13:14 "And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast;saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.
zion3631 3 years ago
Ash Wednesday part 1
In the Bible, a mark on the forehead is a symbol of ownership. By having his forehead marked with the sign of a cross, a person symbolizes that he belongs to Jesus Christ, who died on a cross. This is in imitation of the spiritual mark or seal that is put on a Christian in baptism, when he is delivered from slavery to sin and the devil and made a slave of righteousness and Christ
(Rom. 6:3-18).
ricklonghi909 3 years ago
Ash Wednesday part 2
It is also imitates the way the righteous are described in the book of Revelation: "Do not harm the earth or the sea or the trees till we have sealed the servants of our God upon their foreheads" (Rev.7:3).
Or again, "Then I looked, and, lo, on Mount Zion stood the Lamb and with him a hundred and forty-four thousand who had his name and his Father's name written on their foreheads" (Rev. 14:1).
ricklonghi909 3 years ago
Ash Wednesday part 3

The Sabbath is the 7th day. This is a COMMANDMENT FROM GOD. The RCC made it the 1st day. Why?
Do you honour God when you hold up a staff, put a cracker in it, COMMAND God to turn into the cracker, and believe you are eating Him?
What other church "wears purple and scarlet" "holds a gold cup" and "sits on 7 hills"?
Jesus said only He can save you.
No MAN can forgive your sins. You should not worship dead saints. The Pope can't be "CHRIST ON EARTH" - NOBODY CAN.

You are spreading fallacies, and you can prove none of them. What is your authority, if any? What is your denomination?
ricklonghi909 3 years ago
Hi ricklonghi909,
You can Google the scripture.
Jesus says to submit to God, not Man. Church needs order, but no man to "take God's place" on Earth or have his feet kissed.
Saturday is the last day of the week. The Sabbath is Saturday. Sun-Day worship violates God's command. That's a fact.
RCC members are not evil, but the RCC is doing many things very wrong.
God can forgive that or not.
My denomination is not important; let's discuss the word of God.
Sorry if I offended you before.

That verse also applies to the rich Protestants in our midsts. As the Vicar of Christ the Catholic community bestows gifts on its pope, but while he may have fanciful robes, his devotion to Christ and his humility are for the Lord to judge, not for Protestant demagogues.

Or is Jim Jones perhaps your name?

ricklonghi909 3 years ago
I am quite sure that the blind would appreciate your religion's use of them as some sort of negative symbol.
As for me, it is none of your concern. That being said, the notion that you would categorize acknowledgement of genocidal behavior in Catholic history as "excuses" shows that your moral compass has not been well-formulated under the auspices of your belief system. I suppose J.J. was a moral authority after all, from your perspective. He *said* he was, which is apparently all that matters

ricklonghi909 3 years ago
I understand it's meaning. You kindly try to insult me by comparing me to the blind. This is both a debasement of myself and of those who are with visual impairment.
Not that it is any of your business, but I did not say that I left Catholicism because of its genocidal history, at least not solely for that reason.

I haven't entered into a conversation, I've been responding to an idiot who thinks its his business to ask people personal questions and then insult them for making personal decisions. Was it my sole, primary reason? No, it was not. Did it effect my sentimentalist view of Catholicism? Sure.

I for one never claimed to have an uncritical view of them; mine is quite critical.
qwertyuiop84913 3 years ago
And how charming; another attempt atinsult. Those who use words like "apostacy" are intellectually and morally bankrupt. Considering all those in our own day in Islamic countries, for instance, being killed for the "crime" of changing their minds about a religion that was forced on them at infancy, and considering that as a missionary religion there would be no Christianity without conversion- which requires "apostacy" from one faith- one has to be quite a half-wit to use the term in that way.

Which god would that be? It's no big achievement on your part to believe he exists. Even the demons believe in God.

John 14

No novelty or achievement was claimed. I stated that I believe in God and have not abandoned this belief, and it is not for your ilk to decide the "direction" I need take. I do not seek your counsel, much less cynical attempts at dictation; my belief is not hampered but uplifted by my renunciation of the idolatrous worship of a false prophet. The devil can quote scripture, they say, and it is your privilege to do so. Demons believe, you say, and this is evident in the annals of Church history.

As for your effort to re-live the '04 election; yes, I did "flip-flop," if you say so. I did not do this for personal gain, however, I did so because I was following my conscience; so what are you trying to get at by calling me this? As said, Christianity would not exist without "flip-flopping." It needed converts.

qwertyuiop84913, your channel looks fake, like one of those SDAs or JW that likes to stalk Catholics and spout Biblical scripture to somehow disprove the RCC.

I appreciate your fair response.
Every title and nickname of the Papacy = 666, numerically in each original language:
Hebrew: ROMIITH, ROMITI
Greek: I PROTERA, LATEINOS, HE LATINE BASILEIA, ITALIKA EKKLESIA, APOSTATES, PARADOSIS
Latin: VICARIVS FILII DEI, DVX CLERI, SANCTA LVS DEI, LVDOVICVS
Quite a coincidence!

- changes the commandments (RCC moved the sabbath from saturday to Sun day, did something else i cant remember)
- Pagan rituals (the pope's throne has a zodiac right on it, mitre is a babylonian fish god, eucharist taken from babylon, EATING AND DRINKING GOD'S FLESH?, all seeing eye of Osiris/Lucifer all over RCC art, Upside-down cross on Pope's throne, giant zodiac sun dial in vatican square, pope requires you to bow to him and kiss his hand like a god, RCC worships statues and dead bones, etc.
jimjones2020 3 years ago
Now if the Bible makes ENDLESS descriptions of the Beast, and almost ALL of them only match ONE person or church... and if the number is 666 and at least a DOZEN names for that person = 666... you're looking at hundreds of dead-on coincidences here.
Anybody who doesn't believe me - look it up yourself! It's ALL OVER the Bible The Papal names are in history textbooks. It's all there.
If you want to doubt it, is it because you're offended personally? Or the hundred Biblical clues are wrong?
jimjones2020 3 years ago
This is madness.
Why not explain how the 12 names I provided were an error? Or how the Sabbath really is Sunday? Or why the Mitre and Dagon are identical?
You will never disprove people by just saying they're full of it. Shoot them down and educate them. When it comes to faith, you would be saving lives.

Long live the Pope and the Catholic Church. Let all the haters scoff all they want, they did the same to Jesus.

Dan. 7:25
Actually, this corresponds fairly accurately to the duration of Antiochus' persecution.
ricklonghi909 3 years ago

I think you are like Judas as well.
ricklonghi909 3 years ago
Perhaps I was too harsh. The problem is that people often stray - when you put up statues of ordinary people (Saints), some people pray in error. You can check it out on Google and you'll see loads of people kneeling before statues. They're not supposed to do that.
jimjones2020 3 years ago
JimJones, the name suits you right. All that you're talking about in regards to the Catholic Church are false accusations that have been spread by anti-catholics. You are full of hatred and you don't know what you are talking about, you only repeat lies that have been spread since the reformation. But, like I said before, the Catholic Church will last forever because it is guided by the Holy Spirit and not guided by a protestant's interpretation of a few bible verses taken out of context.

Are you a Christian?
Prove people wrong and save them.
I came on here, because in my mind, people were erring in the face of God, and I wanted to help them.
E.g. the Sabbath is the last day of the week, and most Christians now worship on the first day. I read of the hills and 666, and came to an honest conclusion with no "jazz" or interpretation.
If the reality is that people like me are wrong, you can settle this matter with plain language... and help save people.
jimjones2020 3 years ago
Your argument about the Sabbath being moved to Sunday is valid. Catholics can worship on Saturdays or Sundays, so the Sabbath issue is a non issue.
1tontomato 3 years ago
Also you have to remember that the Catholic Church which Jesus established, has the power/authority given by Jesus to bind and unbind, retain or loose and whatever the Catholic Church in accordance with the Pope and Bishops decide to remove or add in terms of Christian matters, will be acknowledged by Christ in Heaven. Hence the term, "what ever you loose on earth will be loosed in Heaven."

Seek

"So tell me why Messiah has 7 churches in Revelations? " -espiritodaverdade8
Because those were the first 7 churches established., but they can teach the other churches how to be and not to be by example
"why Messiah says He has the keys of David & what He opens no Man shuts, & what he shuts no man opens, again in Rev.?" -espiritidaverdade8
Jesus said this to indicate that he had defeated the devil. Then Jesus ascended to heaven and gave Peter the keys.

Ignatius of Antioch was an original disciple of Johnthe apostle. Read some books and gain some knowledge, espirito

ALL christians believe Jesus was born of a virgin, and that he is fully man and fully God. so if you don't you are either a heretic, a satanist, a cultist, or an atheist. If you claim to be christian, what is your denomination, pagan?
ricklonghi909 1 year ago

Passage Isaiah 7:14:
14 Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.
Passage Luke 1 26 And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth,
27 To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin's name was Mary

Luke 1
31 And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS.
34 Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man?
35 And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.
