Only then can you have equality. As with everything in life, the only REAL equality is that which you are able to earn through hard work.

The amount of time she has spent mulling over the "hottie" word has me feeling bad for her.

As a gay dude with many straight friends I hear the word "fag" and "thats gay" a lot. I am sure as hell not going to get all worked up over a few words. Also, CONTEXT has a big role here. Maybe he understood hottie as a compliment and had no intention of being derogatory.

Freedom of language is big part of liberty. I appreciate her open mind and I hope she joins us.

I believe and understand Dave's explanation. But it's also true that there will be some who are otherwise interested (like many women) who would find the title a bit off-putting.

Ultimately, any real movement has to be made up of REAL PEOPLE, some of whom may not be 100% on message 100% of the time.
