Hello, fellow abalone divers. We have a common enemy. The sunflower starfish. Every time, I dive in anywhere in california, I see many sunflower starfish, yes, light purple color the ones with 20 arms. They are eating abalone at an scary rate. I usually cut them up into tiny pieces. Please help, by cutting up these prediators of the abalone. Let's protect the abalone populations , so that there will be more abs for us in the future.
nice breakfast, Hey how were you guys cooking your ab? Looked bomb Been diving for a few years now and want to get away from default bread and fry. Your method looked au natural! Peace
The board is called a Banks Board. They were designed and are produced in California, have a variety of different options (including quick on and off backpack straps) and to put it simply, work great. If you want to get in touch with the maker, email him at jabsan1@yahoo.com. His name is John. I believe a website is soon to come.
Oh, and it was totally cool to see a focus on getting breakfast, cooked over a pre-dawn fire. Was also very refreshing to see an alternative to the ten hunt.

YES! Another killer video from the free divers. That looks like a tasty breakfast. BTW the editing in this video is the best yet!
