I am getting sick of idiots. Rancid isnt a punk band. They are a Punk AND Ska band. This isn't a "pop punk" song. Its ska. If you dont know waht ska is, or how Op Ivy had serious influence on 3rd wave, then you have no right to comment on this song or any other ska song and call it pop punk garbage or say its not a good punk song. its ska. you dont have to like it but its a primary genre of Rancid
This album was soooo disappointing. Rancid has done such a good job at switching up their sound on each album and I really hoped they would continue that trend on LTDF. Instead, they released some Indestructible soundalike full of mtv-friendly pop-punk songs. Not to say there aren't a few gems on the album but overall it's probably their worst yet. I think they're getting mellow in their old age.

I am getting sick of idiots. Rancid isnt a punk band. They are a Punk AND Ska band. This isn't a "pop punk" song. Its ska. If you dont know waht ska is, or how Op Ivy had serious influence on 3rd wave, then you have no right to comment on this song or any other ska song and call it pop punk garbage or say its not a good punk song. its ska. you dont have to like it but its a primary genre of Rancid

This album was soooo disappointing. Rancid has done such a good job at switching up their sound on each album and I really hoped they would continue that trend on LTDF. Instead, they released some Indestructible soundalike full of mtv-friendly pop-punk songs. Not to say there aren't a few gems on the album but overall it's probably their worst yet. I think they're getting mellow in their old age.

@IrishDroog I think the problem, at least for me, is that the album IS good. It's not great. I really wanted great. It seems to be happening with a lot of bands lately and it definitely makes me sad.

finally someone with some common sense. this record was the disappointment of the decade. what a pile of shit. i spun it for about two days and then tossed it on the shelf. do we need any more evidence that this band is no longer relevant? i thought tim's solo record would be a preview to the greatness of LTDF but what the fuck happened? bad religion is the only band that can still produce quality music.

I dunno about that, there's a lot of good older punk bands still putting out awesome music, the adicts come to mind, along with the Subhumans, Cock Sparrer, Funeral Dress, Bouncing Souls... if you're tired of this new Rancid crap check the Rabble, they're a pretty good Rancid sound a like from New Zealand. Or Left Alone if you like more ska.

i listened to the rabble...what a bunch of uninspired fuckin poser music. faggot crap for the emo generation probably straight out of the suburbs of auckland or christchurch. they sound nothing like rancid. the souls haven't put out a decent record since 03. at least nofx are still tearing shit up. the only post-millenium band worth listening to is rise against.

Dude, they sound exactly like Rancid circa Indestructible/LTDF. But whatever. If you really think Nofx and Rise Against are the only good "post millenium bands" you're a fool. Try to expanding beyond the Epitaph/Hellcat roster, you might be surprised what you find.

Rise Against isn't even punk and I referenced the Warped Tour because those two are among the groups who have played the most. You got a lot of gall calling other people posers, mate. I never said who my favorite bands were. I listen to a lot of stuff, and I've heard all the bands that you think are great, listened to them at one point or another. It's always easy to spot a poser. posers are people like you who are still trying to debate over what is and what isn't punk. if NOFX and rise against aren't punk, then what are they genius? rap? metal? lol.

Rise Against may have started as a punk band but now they play some shitty brand of neo-hardcore music and NOFX just straight up blows. I listed all those bands because they're groups that are still putting out awesome albums contrary to what you claimed. If you were anywhere near as knowledgeable about punk music as you think you wouldn't have made such a stupid remark.

Rancid isn't putting out awesome records, I thought we established that. There are tons of good new punk bands (besides Time Again, a total Rancid clone). How about Outl4w, The Restarts, Whiskey Rebels, Star Fucking Hipsters, Monster Squad, The Briefs, Mouth Sewn Shut, The Briggs? If you don't think there's any good new punk you're not looking hard enough.
