I have dental flourosis, also when I was a kid, I remember swallowing toothpaste. I feel that had I not it may have allowed me to be able to concentrate better, as I have heard another effect is that it effects tour brain. There is also concern over chlorine, another poison, also radiation levels from cell phones and laptops.
@BenjaminWirtz The most recent report out of the U.S. states that 41% of children have dental fluorosis, so if you lived in a community as a youngster that added this, plus toothpaste and dental treatments, U were definitely overexposed. It effects the brain & most organs in the body. Fluoride is more toxic than lead and attracts arsenic and lead to it. I know chlorine isn`t a good thing at all, but, it`s there to treat the water, not the human. Fluoride is illegal as it is mass medication.

At least I can choose not to use a cell phone or eat GMO food. Yes it is toxic, but not dangerous unless ingested in large doses, about 3-5 mg/kg of body weight for adverse health conditions (Geneva:IPCS/ WHO). CDC limits fluoride at 1ppm or about 1mg/liter of water. Do the math.

I suspect we cannot. Mothers breats milk contains extremely low doses of fluoride - that is why CDC has warned all new mothers to NOT use fluoridated tap water to mix baby formula.

@DianeDi That's exactly my point! You can't compare the two, so why do you people always compare rat poison to dental fluoride? You can't! Also, just because breast milk doesn't have much of a chemical or two doesn't mean it's not meant for human consumption, especially later on in development (like, when we actually have teeth). Breast milk isn't a perfect solution, and if you want to go with the 'natural' argument, then fluoride is a naturally occurring element in most water, so it's good.

@DianeDi Actually, you were comparing water fluoridation to rat poison "thats whats in most RAT POISON" and yes, there is a difference. They are two different chemicals. Breastmilk is only "perfect" for developing babies. Of course breastmilk doesn't contain fluoride, babies don't have teeth! They don't need it yet! And the CDC says to limit fluoride for babies because a) they don't need it and b) small amounts are too much because of their lower body mass, not because it's poison.
@DianeDi Pediatritians say you shouldn't give babies egg whites, peanut butter, shellfish, crustaceans and citrus, so should they be banned for being poisonous too? The problem with ANY vitamin, is dosage amounts. This is why babies and children have their own multivitamins, instead of just taking adult ones. @sa17ma18ra An in home system can be very expense. I choose to purchase distilled water .99cents a gallon here. It`s a pain, but I refuse to drink tap water.

@sa17ma18ra Hey, I`m taking the `cheap`way out. Be careful because fluoride causes cancer, hypothyroidism, dental fluorisis, osteoporosis and lowers IQ. I have to take medication to control my hypothyroidism, it is life altering and no cure. Knowing that fluoride caused this makes me very angry. 99 cents a day is cheap for myself and husband compared to the medical costs down the road.

@DianeDi It's funny you talk about medical costs...where I live (Australia) we don't have to pay for healthcare. It's good because when we get sick we don't have to worry that we won't have enough money to get surgery or receive medication.
As far as toothpaste goes, I hear baking soda is a good way to go but you would probably need some flavor like mint to mask the taste, I also saw a suggestion to mix with peroxide but isn't that poisonous as well?
@Benjamin There are a number of `fluoride`free brands of toothpaste around. I use Jasons and it has a nice cinnamon taste. Baking soda is always good, but tastes rather nasty to most. Peroxide 3% solution is great but I`ve heard not something to brush with daily. Peroxide is very underrated.... I use it for so many things. Don`t swallow it of course - but it is one of those `cheap` miracles. Ear aches, mouth rinse, antiseptic, for sores, etc. and it doesn`t sting - just bubbles a bit.
You can always purchase a reverse osmosis unit. Even though they say that they cost hundreds of dollars in this video, you can get one for about $150 that would be used for saltwater aquariums. It is probably better quality filters as well. Then you just have to spend approx. $50 every 12 months for a new RO membrane.

@Viktir666 Good to hear, I too used distilled water and it's rather unfortunate we are forced to buy clean and safe drinking water. From my understanding anyone that has consumed fluoride for one year will never be the same, although I'd like to think it's never too late to avoid this poison. Sadly it's also used as a pesticide on our fruits and vegetables - one more reason to look for organic or grow your own where possible.

Fluoride is the only medication given on mass, in any quantity for any age and and size without even knowing the individual. Doesn't make sense to me and many studies are available showing severe negative effects.
It affected me directly in the form of Hypothyrodism, & truly I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy. It was very severe & I didn't know what what wrong with me. I ended up quitting my job as I couldn't get out of bed before 11a.m. on any given day. It's a rat poison, & in daily doses builds up over the years to casue major concerns. They are discovering this now, from the 1950's implementation and lucky me, I know first hand the dangers. My doctor told me to avoid fluoride at all costs.
I drink distilled it says 0.00% fluoride, so I know it's fluoride free, but most other bottled water is only tap water filtered, or natural spring water which has naturally occurring fluoride. It's difficult to avoid the stuff, but worth the effort for the long term.
I would highly recommend you drink distilled... I am in Canada and I believe it is currently 0.7 ppm (parts per million), now I don't know how that equates to 11% but it can't be good. If someone said that your food only contained 11% rat poison, would you want to eat it... probably not, so why drink the water. Help educate others, many people are totally unaware of the true dangers.

No absolutely not, in fact, when you boil fluoridated water, it becomes more toxic. Boiling water gets rid of chlorine and not too much else. I've heard conflicting reports about expensive reverse osmosis systems that remove fluoride, however I'm not an expert on this. I choose to use "distilled" water. I buy it at my local supermarket by the gallon. It's not expensive and it's something you should consider as soon as possible. I have a playlist dedicated to fluoride if you're interested.
i just boiled some water befor this but i live in england im not sure if the add fuoride here but it has white dust that has formed at the bottom of the pan its probly limescale because british water has alot of limescale in it
News flash! The plastic leeching into the stored water is also toxic. Hexane anyone? A good water filter that specifically removes it is best. Distilled is devoid of trace minerals which your body needs. Try a Burkee filter. Its cheaper and less toxic. Or at least distill your own + mineral supplements. I used to buy Tom's toothpaste as it didn't have sulfates in it. Now they took out the flouride and put sulfates in it. What to do? They are trying to KILL US! I think that SLS is worse than Flouride? I haven't used it in my shampoo's or anything in yearssss. Now they put that in our toothpastes. I will buy online. I bet they have it at amazon.

DD I have known of this for years as I used to work with doctors who didn't believe in the junk and cancer causing things put in shampoo's, soaps, bath gels and toothpaste. CD I found a great brand called JASON's in my grocery stores health food section, in fact they had at least 5 different brands that were fluoride free, but JASON's was also SLS free (Sodium Lauryl Sulfate).
chlorination is the least of our worries my friend. it boils off in three minutes. if you boil fluoride it becomes 10 times more toxic. It is true hazardous waste and we are all the victims. More and more municipalities are voting against fluoridated water...just look at fluoride.... alert... (dot).... org and you will find so much information, it will truly be an eye opener... it will save your life and those you love.... trust me...
I'm still skeptical as to the danger. Having said that, I think an argument can be made against fluoridation solely based on the fact that because water is a part of the commons, it should not be used as a means of mass-medication. Not all are aware of fluoride, and that they're ingesting it.

If you go to any health type markets(Whole Foods, maybe?) they will have toothpastes that will say right on the label if the product is fluoride free. Tom's of Maine has fluoride free toothpaste although they sell both, with and without, so make to sure to read the label. One of the brands I use is TheraNeem.
I stopped buying Tom's of Maine because they sold out to Colgate a couple years ago. Many people aren't aware of that. I just have a problem when that happens.
I stopped buying Tom's also, many years ago. I stopped buying them even before they sold out. If I remember right many years ago all their toothpaste was fluoride free and now most of their toothpastes have fluoride. That pissed me off so I stopped buying their products. But for someone using other mainstream stuff if Tom's is available to them I would rather they use that then buy the other toxic stuff. And Tom's is a lot more available then other natural type brands.
I now use "Jasons" Powersmile (cinnamon) and I'm lucky now I find it right beside Tom's. I believe it's also SLS free. It's only a matter of time before Colgate will poison the Tom's brand.

I have dental flourosis, also when I was a kid, I remember swallowing toothpaste. I feel that had I not it may have allowed me to be able to concentrate better, as I have heard another effect is that it effects tour brain. There is also concern over chlorine, another poison, also radiation levels from cell phones and laptops.

@BenjaminWirtz The most recent report out of the U.S. states that 41% of children have dental fluorosis, so if you lived in a community as a youngster that added this, plus toothpaste and dental treatments, U were definitely overexposed. It effects the brain & most organs in the body. Fluoride is more toxic than lead and attracts arsenic and lead to it. I know chlorine isn`t a good thing at all, but, it`s there to treat the water, not the human. Fluoride is illegal as it is mass medication.

@BenjaminWirtz There are a number of toxins we run into everyday I agree with you 100%, but for me, I have so much trouble trying to avoid fluoride. At least I can choose not to use a cell phone or eat GMO food. When I know they are spraying our food with fluoride as a pesticide at a rate of almost 300% more than what`s in our water I have to wonder what is going on here. Yes it is toxic, but not dangerous unless ingested in large doses, about 3-5 mg/kg of body weight for adverse health conditions (Geneva:IPCS/ WHO). CDC limits fluoride at 1ppm or about 1mg/liter of water. Do the math.
EVERYTHING is dangerous in large doses, doesn't mean it's bad. Random youtube videos do not count as "research". Sorry.

@deadadelta Some rat poisons also contain vitamin D, and most deadly liquids contain water. We should ban them too. Also, you can kill a rat with carbonated water. Doesn't mean it's bad for humans. Also, it's in prettymuch all processed foods, in the air, and naturally occurring in most bodies of water, so I guess you're drugged too!

I suspect we cannot. Mothers breats milk contains extremely low doses of fluoride - that is why CDC has warned all new mothers to NOT use fluoridated tap water to mix baby formula.
Fluoridated drinking water contains up to 200 times more fluoride than breast milk (1000 ppb in fluoridated tap water vs 5-10 ppb in breast milk). As I mentioned before watch *FLUORIDE: The Bizarre History*

Also, just because breast milk doesn't have much of a chemical or two doesn't mean it's not meant for human consumption, especially later on in development (like, when we actually have teeth). Breast milk isn't a perfect solution, and if you want to go with the 'natural' argument, then fluoride is a naturally occurring element in most water, so it's good.

Breastmilk is only "perfect" for developing babies. Of course breastmilk doesn't contain fluoride, babies don't have teeth! They don't need it yet! And the CDC says to limit fluoride for babies because a) they don't need it and b) small amounts are too much because of their lower body mass, not because it's poison.

The problem with ANY vitamin, is dosage amounts. This is why babies and children have their own multivitamins, instead of just taking adult ones. This is why the CDC (the same people who have proven fluoride is safe in the right amounts) say babies shouldn't have it. You should look this stuff up before coming to wild conclusions.

I have to take medication to control my hypothyroidism, it is life altering and no cure. Knowing that fluoride caused this makes me very angry. 99 cents a day is cheap for myself and husband compared to the medical costs down the road.

As far as toothpaste goes, I hear baking soda is a good way to go but you would probably need some flavor like mint to mask the taste, I also saw a suggestion to mix with peroxide but isn't that poisonous as well?

@Benjamin There are a number of `fluoride`free brands of toothpaste around. I use Jasons and it has a nice cinnamon taste. Baking soda is always good, but tastes rather nasty to most. Peroxide 3% solution is great but I`ve heard not something to brush with daily. Peroxide is very underrated.... I use it for so many things. Don`t swallow it of course - but it is one of those `cheap` miracles. Ear aches, mouth rinse, antiseptic, for sores, etc. and it doesn`t sting - just bubbles a bit.

You can always purchase a reverse osmosis unit. Even though they say that they cost hundreds of dollars in this video, you can get one for about $150 that would be used for saltwater aquariums. It is probably better quality filters as well. Then you just have to spend approx. $50 every 12 months for a new RO membrane.

@Viktir666 Good to hear, I too used distilled water and it's rather unfortunate we are forced to buy clean and safe drinking water. From my understanding anyone that has consumed fluoride for one year will never be the same, although I'd like to think it's never too late to avoid this poison. Sadly it's also used as a pesticide on our fruits and vegetables - one more reason to look for organic or grow your own where possible.

At this point the Dental Associations are united, and those that are not, are considered outcasts. The number of professional dentist number approx. 2,500 who have signed the online petition to end water fluoridation worldwide. Its' on the Fluoride Alert (do) Net - website.
Fluoride is the only medication given on mass, in any quantity for any age and and size without even knowing the individual. Doesn't make sense to me and many studies are available showing severe negative effects.

It affected me directly in the form of Hypothyrodism, & truly I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy. It was very severe & I didn't know what what wrong with me. I ended up quitting my job as I couldn't get out of bed before 11a.m. on any given day. It's a rat poison, & in daily doses builds up over the years to casue major concerns. They are discovering this now, from the 1950's implementation and lucky me, I know first hand the dangers. My doctor told me to avoid fluoride at all costs.

I drink distilled it says 0.00% fluoride, so I know it's fluoride free, but most other bottled water is only tap water filtered, or natural spring water which has naturally occurring fluoride. It's difficult to avoid the stuff, but worth the effort for the long term.

I would highly recommend you drink distilled... I am in Canada and I believe it is currently 0.7 ppm (parts per million), now I don't know how that equates to 11% but it can't be good. If someone said that your food only contained 11% rat poison, would you want to eat it... probably not, so why drink the water. Help educate others, many people are totally unaware of the true dangers.

No absolutely not, in fact, when you boil fluoridated water, it becomes more toxic. Boiling water gets rid of chlorine and not too much else. I've heard conflicting reports about expensive reverse osmosis systems that remove fluoride, however I'm not an expert on this. I choose to use "distilled" water. I buy it at my local supermarket by the gallon. It's not expensive and it's something you should consider as soon as possible. I have a playlist dedicated to fluoride if you're interested.

News flash! The plastic leeching into the stored water is also toxic. Hexane anyone? A good water filter that specifically removes it is best. Distilled is devoid of trace minerals which your body needs. Try a Burkee filter. Its cheaper and less toxic. Or at least distill your own + mineral supplements. I used to buy Tom's toothpaste as it didn't have sulfates in it. Now they took out the flouride and put sulfates in it. What to do? They are trying to KILL US! When I get my teeth cleaned I tell them I don't want the flouride. They are cleaning up after the factory farming shit..literally. It is all a big circle of lies!

I was devastated, needless to say, as I am brushing always with Toms of Maine... I sent them an email asking these questions... of course NO RESPONSE.. nothing nada... so I have to wonder about corporate takeover. It was a simple question, only asking if they had fluoride in their product. Oh well, Colgate 1 -- Diane -- 0.. I will be intestigating Thieves - a little pricey, but it's about health and welfare... you can pay now or you can pay later.. right?? ;o)

I think that SLS is worse than Flouride? I haven't used it in my shampoo's or anything in yearssss. Now they put that in our toothpastes. I will buy online. I bet they have it at amazon.

Thanks for the info on SLS, I had no idea.... I have switched toothpaste to Jasons which is SLS free, now just need to work on all the other products. They really are trying to poison us.

DD I have known of this for years as I used to work with doctors who didn't believe in the junk and cancer causing things put in shampoo's, soaps, bath gels and toothpaste. Sulfate are what makes things bubble. I know the brands that use it and it is staggering. It is a known carcinogen. So check your products! xoVix

CD I found a great brand called JASON's in my grocery stores health food section, in fact they had at least 5 different brands that were fluoride free, but JASON's was also SLS free (Sodium Lauryl Sulfate).

chlorination is the least of our worries my friend. it boils off in three minutes. if you boil fluoride it becomes 10 times more toxic. It is true hazardous waste and we are all the victims. More and more municipalities are voting against fluoridated water...just look at fluoride.... alert... (dot).... org and you will find so much information, it will truly be an eye opener... it will save your life and those you love.... trust me...

I'm still skeptical as to the danger. Having said that, I think an argument can be made against fluoridation solely based on the fact that because water is a part of the commons, it should not be used as a means of mass-medication. Not all are aware of fluoride, and that they're ingesting it.

If you go to any health type markets(Whole Foods, maybe?) they will have toothpastes that will say right on the label if the product is fluoride free. Tom's of Maine has fluoride free toothpaste although they sell both, with and without, so make to sure to read the label. One of the brands I use is TheraNeem.

I stopped buying Tom's of Maine because they sold out to Colgate a couple years ago. Many people aren't aware of that. I just have a problem when that happens.

I stopped buying Tom's also, many years ago. I stopped buying them even before they sold out. If I remember right many years ago all their toothpaste was fluoride free and now most of their toothpastes have fluoride. That pissed me off so I stopped buying their products. But for someone using other mainstream stuff if Tom's is available to them I would rather they use that then buy the other toxic stuff. And Tom's is a lot more available then other natural type brands.

I now use "Jasons" Powersmile (cinnamon) and I'm lucky now I find it right beside Tom's. I believe it's also SLS free. It's only a matter of time before Colgate will poison the Tom's brand.
