I was fooled into believing she was singing about Jesus Christ. But, sorry to disappoint, but to her she was singing about her young child. And someone else wrote the song. The Americans used to have a Barry Manelow record Award for the wooden spooners (those who came last in a competition for example). Similarly, some Australians had the Anne Murray Award in the 1990's. Personally I don't like the song, except it could be useful as an Ipecac Syrup replacement.
