  • Just hilariously awful.

  • horrendously informed. oh the body just 'shuts down automatically' and you collapse the body does not 'shut down' if oxygen is not going to the muscles, that's why its called anaerobic respiration.

  • Lactic acid is not produced by the muscles and it is not the cause of the burning sensation or fatigue in muscles. "Lactate" is used to buffer the acidosis caused by the build up of hydrogen ions, so your muscles actually use lactate as a source of energy.. Google "Lactic Acid Myth" and you will see what I am talking about.

  • He meant the gluteal muscles aka your arse. His english isn't great but I got the message. For those who can't understand him he's basically saying that lactic acid burn can be prevented by ensuring proper blood flow by stretching the muscles well beforehand. Especially the glutes, hip flexors and hamstrings. He mightn't be the best with words but I trust he knows a thing or two about sprinting.

  • "oxygen pumping enough blood to red blood cells"???????

what the...now i see what a some of you guys are talkin about, it's kind of like he read it from a script.

  • Wow, this could be a Saturday Night Live skit. What is sad is that he is completely serious.

  • i didnt learn anything!!!!!

  • well, a lesson to learn from the video is proper stretching, some people don't properly stretch, and it costs them. If you do, then good for you

    :-)

  • This man is an ignoramus -- I tried to give him a chance, but he does not know what he is talking about!

  • The lactic acid does accumulate, but it is the physical damage does causes the so--called rigor mortis (Timothy Noakes, Lore of Running).

The "phosphates" pre--stored in the body are being quickly depleted: it is possible to hold the very top speed only up to 300 yards or about 280 meters.

400 m is 80% pure speed, 10% lactic stamina or speed stamina, and only 10% aeorobic or about.

  • This is WRONG! COMPLETELY WRONG! Please don't listen to a word this man says!

  • During such exertion the demand for oxygen from the muscles exceeds supply, so the body turns to anaerobic respiration in which fat and carbohydrates stored in the muscles are used for the conversion of glucose instead of oxygen, and the byproduct of this is lactic acid

  • i cant stand this guy

  • Oxygen doesn't pump around Red blood Cells?!

    Wtf.

    For those wanting a correction;

The HEART 'pumps' around BLOOD to muscles, The BLOOD contains RED and white BLOOD CELLS, The RED BLOOD CELLS contain OXYGEN.

  • crack kills

  • dat was shit!

  • dat was shit!
