We have two anthems because its not like soccer where we have a republic team and a northern team, we have a unified team , and the second anthem was developed because players and fans from the north dont sing amhrain na bhfiann because its not their anthem. Its a sort of a compramize. still I tink its good to have two anthems.

Amhrán na bhFiann is the anthem of the Republic of Ireland, while Ireland's Call represents all-ireland rugby.

In short the first anthem is for the location that the match is played in, (i.e if it was played in Belfast it would be God Save The Queen), and the 2nd for the rugby team, as Ireland have only one team across the whole island.

I'm afraid I can't agree with you there. Your messing with 120 years of history, and it's an important one to remember that Irish Rugby started up 50 years before the parition of Ireland.

Yes Ireland as a national team has gone through it's issues, but in the long term, a great deal of great rugby and great moments have been done by the all-ireland team.

There is a few things the GAA can take from this rugby game.

A note shown for the respect of the fans for Amhrain na bhfiann being one. Respect for the Ref. something which has been slipping in GAA. Oh and the goal posts are better than the GAA current offering. A big thanks to GAA HQ for opening the pitch. Love to see a similar event in Limerick in the near future.
