Lol it would be false advertising if this was played on TV. They pushed it back a whole year. All the good games keep getting pushed back. Just like the new Resident Evil game.

@drowsybrowser thats an incorrect statement the kinect uses infrared to detect players body heat for motion tracking in fact most games suggest you make the room as dark as you can, now there are a very few games where they show the players appearance and these still use body heat to pick the players image out of the background and I find even in a darkened room this works fine, I dont know that game you are using, to say it doesnt work in the dark for all games is untrue.
@justjohnny05 infrared works on BODY HEAT like you said, the only thing that could mess with that is another form of heat getting in the sensors... light does not = heat. If the light source was in front of the sensors then yes maybe, but the presence and absence of visible light has no effect on the infrared spectrum.
George Lucas is a fuckin prick. He has basically given the the middle finger to all star wars fans over the age of 10 and has forgotten about the legions of fans of the original trilogy who saw that when they were kids.The older fans want better than this.

i was rethinking about getting a kinect after seeing how cool it was in the future soldier and me3 demos, but then i saw this and was reminded how terrible it is. the only think i like about the kinect is the voice commands.
your all ranting about the graphics and little details but i bet this isn't even a beta standard, just showing you what they are doing. this'll be to show us most of what they plan to do EG lightsaber battles, cutting down empire soldiers, taking down CIS vulture droids etc. you can't fully judge them on just this, give it time.

This is probably the worst video game trailer I've ever seen. The enemies blasters were just shooting all over the place when up close, and some of them even just walked up to the player without doing anything even to the moment they died.
Lucasarts may not develop these games, they just distribute them. But what they fail to realise is that these games are ruining THEIR reputation. Force Unleashed was good, (FU2 was a fucking let down) but there hasn't been a descent game since Battlefront 2 in 2005. 6 years and nothing. With the power of the 'next gen' consoles and online gaming fans will settle for nothing less than a Battlefront 3. Redemption ito us fans is in order, LucasArts. Now's the time to deliver!
Hey guys! What do you think would have happened if Lucasarts took all the money and assets from this and instead made something COOL and not some PERIPHERAL GIMMICK?
@MultiSlackey its probably not the galactic civil war era yet. i believe its a little after episode 3, the jedi got the signal to come back to the jedi temple and was ambushed by the new empires forces. in the civil war the jedi would not have his jedi clothes anymore nor would he randomly be at the jedi temple by himself for no reason when the empire controlled coruscant. as for the droids, they could have been used for the empire for a while since the cis leader were assassinated.
But if it's a little afterward, why would the Jedi be on Naboo? And the Clones would still have their original armor, Empire armor wasn't produced for a while.
@Quionic7 Naboo was one of the last safe havens for the Jedi. During and after Order 66 Jedi hid there and received much help from the queen, which is why the Empire had her assassinated. As for the new armor, the clones would receive them just a little after Episode 3 after Order 66 had been given and most the Jedi wiped out.
@Cowboy1691 well maybey the empire salvaged the Confederacy of Independent Systems' tanks and fighters? or they revers enginered the tech? i don't know but it would make scene if they did either one
I really hope they make TFU3 I want more of that story. But not for Kinect. I always likes battlefront, because it was like all the online war games except your a Jedi or a stormtrooper or boba fuckin fett

This is probably the worst video game trailer I've ever seen. The enemies blasters were just shooting all over the place when up close, and some of them even just walked up to the player without doing anything even to the moment they died.

Lucasarts may not develop these games, they just distribute them. But what they fail to realise is that these games are ruining THEIR reputation. Force Unleashed was good, (FU2 was a fucking let down) but there hasn't been a descent game since Battlefront 2 in 2005. 6 years and nothing. With the power of the 'next gen' consoles and online gaming fans will settle for nothing less than a Battlefront 3. Redemption ito us fans is in order, LucasArts. Now's the time to deliver!

@MultiSlackey its probably not the galactic civil war era yet. i believe its a little after episode 3, the jedi got the signal to come back to the jedi temple and was ambushed by the new empires forces. in the civil war the jedi would not have his jedi clothes anymore nor would he randomly be at the jedi temple by himself for no reason when the empire controlled coruscant. as for the droids, they could have been used for the empire for a while since the cis leader were assassinated.

But if it's a little afterward, why would the Jedi be on Naboo? And the Clones would still have their original armor, Empire armor wasn't produced for a while.

@Quionic7 Naboo was one of the last safe havens for the Jedi. During and after Order 66 Jedi hid there and received much help from the queen, which is why the Empire had her assassinated. As for the new armor, the clones would receive them just a little after Episode 3 after Order 66 had been given and most the Jedi wiped out.
