i always say volvos never die they just move to NorCal. I refuse to drive in d.c. it's a white-knuckling, infuriating experience. and everybody freaks out at the first drop of rain! also, pedestrian-power is unkinown here. we're more like targets!

I'd say people are nice. Far nicer than people on the East coast I would say. I love it here. It isn't like maine. No one even knows if you are new.
