RELAX - No president can amend the Constitution to God's or anyone else's standards unles it's the will of three-fourths of the states. It is an incredibly difficult process.

Scared? No. The constitution has only been amended 27 times in over 200 years. All he's saying is that he supports amendments to protect the right to life and to define marriage as a union between one man and one woman. It would be up to the majority to pass them.

Uhm, amending the Constitution to be in line with "God's standards" is a religious issue. If you object to gay marriage for some secular reason, that's one thing. But to object to it because it's not in line with "God's standards" is something else.

Babies are individuals who are born. When a person is pregnant, they say we are GOING to have a BABY. They don't say we HAVE a baby. A fetus is a bundle of cells just like our blood cells, just like our organs. Slavery was plain wrong cause it took away the liberties of a human being. A fetus has the potential to be a human being..but by no means is a human being. Also please find out how many abortions take place within the US :)

AHH,bone skin hair ect. are not genetically different. They all contain the same DNA, that is why you can make a clone out of ANY cell. Things that are alive can in and of themselves change-that is why a rock is not alive. The instant the spermotozoid fertilizes the egg it creates a barrier not allowing more sperm to enter. All 46 chromosones are present--therefore life begins at conception. Of course it's not a thinking individule yet, but then agian neither is a 2yr. old.

You can not make a clone out of any cell only stem cells. Each of the things that you mentioned have specific cells that carry out specific function. Once they differentiate into different cells they can't transform back. Read the biology book please. Cells can change, they are always changing to their surrounding. Diploid cells have 46 chromosomes. Haploid have 23. Body cells are 46, sex cells are 23. Under your terms every cell in your body is alive other than sex cells.

I'm a biomedical engineer. Trust me I know what I'm talking about. ALL our body cells has 46 chromosomes other than sex cells which has 23. Do you understand that? You are saying that 46 means life..that means ALL body cells other than sex cells are alive. STEM CELLS ARE USED FOR MUCH MORE THAN JUST FOR NERVE REPAIR TRUST ME ON THAT.
