  • Mutual deception. Great way to maintain a marriage.

  • Aquatherm wood boiler

  • Wow the one happy Shaver Customer in the world. I didn't know one existed. Worked with these daily and they are nothing but problems. Natural draft with now electronic damper shit off or fan makes them outdated. They boil over all the time when it is warm out and can't keep up when it gets into the low teens and single digits. They crack all the time. Workmanship is shoddy. I ended up with a Nature's Comfort and I love it. Very little smoke on mine. Horrible Cust Support.

  • WOE she scares me ha ha ha

  • LOL

  • You are the $1000.00 GRAND PRIZE WINNER of the Shaver Outdoor Wood Furnace Contest!

  • @ShaverFurnace cheaply built stove Shaver. Goes to boiling and evaporating water far to quickly. Have to top off water every morning even if the stove is choked down. How the hell can you keep water treatment is it like that. You need to build a evap recover system and it would be better. And god sakes put a damn temp gauge on it

  • @siscotree NOT a typical problem!

The evap recovery system can be built for a dollar with a simple copper coil on the overflow tube BUT with the new solenoid activated damper (which can be added to ANY Shaver furnace) boiling is a thing of the past. You may have a bad thermostat or damper not adjusted correctly. You get a 20 year warranty ON-SITE, so they must be pretty good!

  • @ShaverFurnace With the damper completely shut it boils the water out. It cant be airtight. The fan isnt running so the thermostat isnt a factor. As far as a 20 year warranty read it,You want a water sample from residence. If your guys say it isnt up to par and you needed to add water treatment the water ...which boils out every night. You wouldnt be covered. Check taylor or central boiler.See how often you have to refill those stoves.

  • @ShaverFurnace The stove was shipped with 1000 ft of 3/8s copper tube inside for heating hot water. It came with quest fittings on it which cant stand the temp and leaked all over the blower fan...which is now dead. Dont be decieving guys. You know what must be done to make a better stove.

  • @ShaverFurnace Good luck getting them to honor the warranty. That warranty is worth less than the paper it is written on. You shouldn't have to build your own damper it should come on the boiler as that is standard just to make any boiler work properly. Also they should not use thermostats but instead use an aquastat. Shaver = Junk or Joke whichever you prefer. They trick people in with a low price and then tell you to call your lawyer once you call with a warranty issue.
