Just to put this argument to rest this was made using an Ensoniq Mirage with factory sample disks for the Piano & Strings with Roland TR-909, TR-808, TR-707 and TR-727 on the drums.

Juan Atkins used an Ensoniq Mirage to make Good Life aswell so it's obviously a popular machine with the Techno boys back in the 80's
