you can spot a fake right away by looking at the magnifying glass. real rolexes magnify the date 2.5X while 99% of fakes magnify date only 1.5 times. o fakes the dates usually seem very small. check out the left one in 1:46

I also own a couple of great Cartier, Hublot, Breitling and Rolex replicas, none of which have ever been questioned. To me the expense for real just isn't worth it. The Black bezel GMT in the video is fake. You can tell from the overall fit and finish, and that the SEL links on the bracelet fit flust with the ends of the lugs and not recessed like on a real one. Always a give away.

On a real GMT Master II , the ceramic bezel only moves 24 places in one full rotation. on both of those watches,he moved the bezel like 4times between each number. It should only move twice. I think both of those watches are fake.

Looking at the video i'd say the one shown second is a fake (the black one) simply because it doesn't appear to be machined as the edges are far rougher.
I like the GMTII, definitely prefer it to most rolex's, but my dream watch right now is a Zenith grande chronomaster open in gold - that's a truly fine watch (or the Greubel Forsey quadruple tourbillon, like that's ever gonna happen!)

actually, the divers watches are uni-directional because divers use the bezel to time their air. if you hit the bezel while you are underwater and you were to accidentally give yourself more time (if you have bi-directional) that would be a bad thing.
The one on left is definately fake cuz a real Rolex has the pin holes in the outside of case. The fake one are notorious for not having the holes on the case. Cant see the other one too well.
the first one you held up is the fake, pin holes where the band attaches,dead give away but the 2nd looks like a grade A swiss replica too so hell lol

the real thing has (among other things) a crown laser etched in the sapphire at 6 oçlock,
opening the watch will reveal if it has the real movement....
p.s. some fakes have the crown etched but it is too big...

I beg to differ, but you might want to check your source on that. If the Bezel had 24 clicks then each click would be at the mid point of each hour, those would be really big clicks.

@demonviper please look up GMT watches. they do only have 24 click bezels. it is the only way that the second and third time zones that the watch tells, are correct.

Mine has 120 clicks. I just checked it, and mine is the real deal.....
Each 5 minute segment of the face is 10 clicks. ( 12 segments x 10 clicks = 120 clicks )

I had a real (gmt master ) Rolex and never kept good time ? and got a fake rolex and runs smoother than the real one ,, went to the jewlers and they told me that i would have to send my real one to swiss to get it recondition which Only costs $500.00 for that i could buy 5 to 10 nice looking fake rolexes ! why wouldnt I buy a rolex? Because I have the klaus kobec c29 diamond men's. well known watch? no. But this watch is an auto winding masterpiece. It is plated with 24 ct gold and has 24 diamonds on it, it also has 3 crown tipped with blue enamel, which is gorgeuos. They are sort of, not to sound elitist but know matter how you say it you are buying a copy, you are better off buying a Victorinox or Seiko for that money you'll get a better watch and you don't have to worry that someone who knows will out you. Watch people prefer those with good taste rather than phonies with fake Rolex's hell obama's watch is $370 and people seem to like him :)

Looking at the video i'd say the one shown second is a fake (the black one) simply because it doesn't appear to be machined as the edges are far rougher.
I like the GMTII, definitely prefer it to most rolex's, but my dream watch right now is a Zenith grande chronomaster open in gold - that's a truly fine watch (or the Greubel Forsey quadruple tourbillon, like that's ever gonna happen!)

in original gmt ii 24 hour hand almost touches the bezel, while in fake it don't. black one is really good quality but it is replica. i am not sure about movement but may be miyota or ETA! and by the way i have the same watch.

The black one is a copy of a newer Rolex, they do not have the springbar holes anymore. You can't judge a fake based on whether or not the holes are visible or not.

The Sub, SD, SDDS, and other diving watches are unidirectional. The GMT is bidirectional to allow for ease of setting the TZ.

actually, the divers watches are uni-directional because divers use the bezel to time their air. if you hit the bezel while you are underwater and you were to accidentally give yourself more time (if you have bi-directional) that would be a bad thing.

The one on left is definately fake cuz a real Rolex has the pin holes in the outside of case. The fake one are notorious for not having the holes on the case. Cant see the other one too well.
